Convenient location close to town
The facilities arr quite good. The pool looked clean (didn't use it) the bedding was crisp and clean and the room had good provisions (decent size tv, kettle, fridge, microwave). The room is due for a reno. There was paint peeling from the roof, bathroom sink had a few rust stains and the room door had some dodgey repairs in it. Having said that, you have to take into account the price you pay and the star rating of the hotel. I would have no problem staying here again

Needs to do better
There was no one at reception when I arrived at midday. I had to telephone to gain entrance. This could be very simply solved by installing a bell. There was no fresh milk in the room only UHT. This is unusual for a country Motel in Australia. I paid for a deluxe room but all the rooms seemed the same. The bathroom needed renovation.

Reception and check-in are open from 2pm, clearly stated on your confirmation, unless you request an early check-in. There is a bell at the reception desk when unattended and an after-hours number displayed. The rooms are not all the same, you booked a queen room, we also have deluxe king rooms available. Fresh milk is always available, when requested by the guest. The room was clean and well laid out (although a little on the small side). The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very small and I think it needs painting. The sign for the motel should be alight at night. We had trouble finding the motel after attending a concert at the MEC. We drove past it several times and only found it when I drove very slowly in the left lane with my hazard lights on!! I think it is overpriced, but nevertheless, we had a comfortable night. This motel is fine. Despite being on a busy road, the traffic noise did not intrude. My only suggestions for improvement would be having more power points, especially by the bed…also, the wifi which was good in the evening, was very temperamental in the morning. Everything else worked as it should.
