Destacado palacio en medio de la pintoresca ciudad
La estadia y la recepción fueron excelentes. El desayuno muy completo. Un punto a considerar y de desventaja es que no accedieron a otorgarnos late check out a pesar de que no parecía estar muy completo el hotel

“Unique, memorable, wonderful.” Gracious, elegant, boutique hotel. Elegant, European decor; exquisite boutique hotel, built 1/2 millennium ago, during the Mameluke period; magnificent old stone structure former residence of the governor of Galilee district. Lovely breakfast included! ....U won't need lunch! Extremely personal attention & caring by the staff. A definitely unique, elegant venue.....memorable, happily! 5***** Plus, unreserved recommendation!

Nice hotel in heart of Tzvat
This was a very comfortable boutique hotel with a large, clean room. All the amenities were available and the staff was very welcoming. I would stay there again and recommend it to friends.

Owners and Staff EXTREMELY RUDE
This hotel is well located and has charm, but the pros end there. The owner seems to be doing us a favor to let us stay at his hotel. I have been to Israel over 20 times and I am very used to the Israeli style, so I am no stranger to their style, but I felt not welcomed at all at this hotel. We had a baby and the owner did not want to allow us stay there saying that the hotel does not accept kids, but there is NO MENTION of that on the web site whatsoever. Also, if you need ANYTHING after 6:00 PM, there is no one at the reception. I was not given the wifi code and did not have internet access since I arrived at the hotel after 6:00 and didn't realize I needed the code. I also needed to charge my phone and laptop, and did not have an Israeli adaptor with me, so not having reception after 6:00 PM when you pay top dollars for a room is quite annoying. Lastly, I inquired prior to my visit if the hotel was kosher and I was told it was. When I arrived there, several items that were served for breakfast did not have any kosher symbol. I asked the owner and he said that he reads the ingredients and if it looks kosher he serves them. Obviously this does not meet any kosher standards. Bottom line: If you can stay at the Ruth Rimonim around the corner do it, because its the same price and you will be treated like a king and not like a servant.

Luxurious hospitality We were treated like royalty. While we were there we had a medical emergency. He went out of his way to help us get the best possible help. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were discreet and always at hand. The views are stunning. We look forward to staying there again. Hove, United Kingdom

Eccentric but interesting
The hotel is not as luxurious as its name or price. The proprietor is very genial. No elevator and lots of steps. The location is excellent but the total package is disappointing. The amazing sitting view of the mountains from the second floor balcony is blocked by planters. It is a hotel with great potential.

It's worth a trip to Safed, just for the privilege of staying at this hotel” Date of review: 2015- New Wow!!! What is amazing experience? Having travelled to hundreds of cities and stayed in thousands of hotels, I can confidently say that this Boutique outranks any hotel I have ever stayed in. The outside doesn’t do it justice but from the moment you walk in the front door, you are struck by the creativity and absolute attention to detail exuded by the owner, It was a palace in the 12th century and has since been restored, but the magnificence remains. He has antiques going back thousands of years (eg Louis XV) and the open and public areas are tastefully furnished with amazing designs and ambience. Each room is different. We had the pleasure of staying in the Executive Room, which was spacious and elegant. Amenities were of the highest standard. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom huge! Stayed 2015, travelled with friends An amazing Boutique Hotel My friends and I have been traveling and just now have time to write about the WONDERFUL stay and great service we received at your Hotel ! Thank you thank you ! It was the very best care we ever had experienced, note to forget our room was gorgeous as well. It was perfect to come home to after sight-seeing and we enjoyed having a glass of wine in the most luxurious Hotel lobby in Israel!!! Thank you for a fantastic stay- beautiful hotel- kind & friendly staff- Thank you ! Overall; a great stay and a great experience, I just wish we had had more time to stay and enjoy this beautiful place We will absolutely stay here again on our next visit!

This is a gracious, tasteful, romantic and elegant boutique hotel situated in the most desirable area of the artists area of this historic city. The public areas are grandiose, and beautifully furnished with antiques and art objects carefully placed. The rooms are large, comfortable and just as tastefully decorated.We truly appreciate the comments and are looking forward to seeing you soon......

Fabulous Boutique Hotel with Perfect Location
My daughter and I had a wonderful time at the Palacio Domain. We had no idea what to expect when we booked our stay and could not have been happier with our choice. We stayed two nights and were treated like royalty by Jan Yves and Ranin. The location could not be better. It's only a five minute walk to the Old City and is located in the heart of the Artists Colony.

Unique, charming hotel near Safed artist's colony
This converted mansion of a diplomat is immediately adjacent to the Safed artists colony. Only five rooms, and each finished in exquisite antiques. Included in the (substantial) price is 24 hour coffee and tea, alcoholic drinks and mixers, fruit, etc., and a lovely breakfast. Absolutely personal service--you will feel very taken care of. No children allowed. This is a great place for a honeymoon--or a second honeymoon.

Palacio Domain a palatial experience
Only bad thing was that the jacuzzi was broken. But the amenities at this hotel were great, made it really comfortable. Free wifi, which is unusual at hotels in Israel, also had free snacks and drinks (including wine and spirits) in the living room area adjacent to the lobby. The owner and staff were delightful and helpful. This is supposed to be a boutique experience and it is. A great value, all things considered.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff
This hotel was absolutely beautiful! The rooms are large, incredibly decorated, and very clean! The staff is very friendly and helpful! The hotel also has free internet service, and a beautiful balcony with panoramic views. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Tzfat. I wish I had more time to spend more time in the hotel. It's a great place to relax and unwind.
