Read previous reviews about the property prior to booking at this location and can only say - I was really disappointed with my stay and most certainly will never be back! Mediocre service at front desk at check-in, COLD breakfast, dried out omelets, dirty tables in dining area that were neglected and not cleaned including used cups, utensils, etc. in buffet service bar area next to food, and very limited breakfast items to choose from compared to other Hamptons. When I asked the kitchen server to clean off a table and buffet area before I used it - there was most definitely a begrudging "attitude" displayed about my request. In addition, my room was still not cleaned by 5PM the following day even though I left for an outing at 9 AM that morning. That next evening was noisy, very noisy - heard doors slamming all that next night into early morning hours and hardly slept at all! My reservation at that location was a complete waste of money in my view, and my experience was nothing short of miserable, unlike any other stay I have ever experienced as a Hampton Inn guest!

We very much liked the location which was convenient for our visit. The room was pretty much what we expected and was clean and overall comfortable. The people at the front desk, especially Julie, were very kind and friendly.

Good spot
Friendly and accommodating staff, room was clean and comfortable. Modern style furnishings and bathroom. Parking lot was a little small as I was towing a trailer and didn’t have much room to maneuver. Overall was a very pleasant stay

Exceptional!
Absolutely wonderful! Beds were comfy! Receptionist was very friendly! And provided warm cookies throughout the day! Breakfast was great! We just enjoyed our stay!

Wish we had known that they were doing renovations on the first floor and workers were there Saturday and Sunday. (I had made reservations a month in advance.) The morning breakfast was okay but by 9:15, all of trash receptacles were overflowing with trash to the point, trash was hitting the floor. Nobody seemed concerned about the appearance of the eating area.

Primarily(!), attention must be given to the rate. I’m from JC and felt $154/night was decent, esp since it was pet friendly. However, when they charge an additional $50 for a pet, $204 is FAR overpriced for this hotel. This was not publicized anywhere or I would not have stayed there. Further, 1/2 the parking lot was off limits because it looked imploded from a sinkhole or some other serious damage. There was no grass to take your dog to the bathroom, and had no trash cans so the ground had dog crap all over the very little grass there was. The view was of imploded concrete, a box truck, metal transport conexes, and a Krystal parking lot. Finally, it’s supposed to be non-smoking! Tell that to Room 307 or 309…had to walk through a HEAVY weed cloud to get to our room with the kids. Disgusting and low class, dirtbags. I did think our room was clean and did like they had Deer Park waters everywhere, as we drink a ton of water. Likely will not stay again.

We have 2 dog poop stations, one on each side of the hotel with bags and trashcans for disposal. I am a bit confused because we do not carry deer park at our location. Please call the hotel and request to speak to Michael Samuels the General Manager to speak further to clear the confusion. Thank you!

Great Overnight Stay
The room was nice and the king size bed was very comfortable. Plenty of outlets and USB ports. Towels were actually quite good. Big fan of all the toiletry dispensers. I’ve never seen hand soap and lotion in wall dispensers right over the sink. It was a welcome addition. My only critiques are that the pillows could have been a little bigger for a king size bed and the water pressure could have been better. A little more oomph in the shower could have taken it to a whole other level. I also would have liked to see some kind of shelf or place in the shower for personal toiletries.

Had a 1 night reservation. Arrived ready to shower & go to bed. Was given room card/key. 3rd floor room. Keys wouldn’t work. Went back to desk, rekeyed & sent on my way. Still lugging luggage! Keys don’t work again. Back to front desk. Said would have to wait on maintenance. Asked for a different room. Given a comparable room on 1st floor. Opened door to tv, lights all on. Bed unmade & empty water bottles on nightstand 😤 Back to front desk & was offered a “snack” from chip & candy rack for my being inconvenienced!! WOW!! Go to another room on 3rd floor. Appeared clean etc but room was damp. Turned down AC. Everything in the room had a damp feeling. My bag, purse etc all damp. Slept terrible. Won’t be staying there again!

Jonesborough trip
We enjoyed our stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Very accommodating when we brought an issue to their attention. Loved the breakfasts that were varied and available every day at reasonable times. Pool area was nice. Very pleased with the hand trucks provided to move suitcases in and out. The location was perfect to walk to things we needed. We understood that construction was going on and may have contributed to the funky odor that seemed to linger in our room. And the box of tissues on the sink counter was thoroughly soaked when we checked in and never dried out for the three days we were there. Some of the hot breakfast items could have been warmer and there was more than one occasion where there was no coffee at breakfast time so we had to wait for some more to be brewed. All of that being said, it did exceed my expectations.
