Buen hotel cerca de la gondola
Apartahotel al que ya se le nota la edad con habitaciones renovadas y personal agradable. Me quedé en un condo platimum dividido en dos niveles. En la parte de abajo, cocineta con salon y un baño, en general bien aunque el mini refri no permite poner líquidos en forma vertical. Tiene un ventanal que en la descripción pone "con vista al valle" pero en realidad lo que se ve es un parking lot. La parte de arriba tiene una mini habitación con baño, es tan mini que prácticamente solo entra la cama y un closet empotrado sin cajoneras. No tiene luces de lectura y el apagador está donde acaban las escaleras, así que te tienes que levantar para encender-apagar la habitación. El colchón y la ropa de cama son excelentes- El espacio no tiene ventanas. Las tinas de hidromasaje y la piscina funcionan muy bien y dan a un bonito paisaje. Los lockers para los skis son muy convenientes y hacen la ida a la gondola un proceso muy rápido.

Location was nice, Gold level 2/2 was decent for the price. Downstairs neighbors were loud and smoked marijuana on patio that filled the bedrooms with stink, but that’s not the properties fault. Over was good, would stay again.

The condo had nice upgrades. Beds were comfortable. The only issue was that the living room furniture was dated. (Especially the recliner).

Free Washer and dryer on site for use. We used these multiple times since we were there for the Vail Lacrosse tournament. Sauna, hot tub, and pool were nice. Our room was missing and iron. The front desk brought a replacement. We also did not have trash bags. The only thing that I did not like was that we did not have a humidifier in the condo. All other properties in the area (others at a lower cost) have humidifiers as the air in this part of the mountains is especially dry. I called the front desk and was told we had to rent one.

Thank you for your recent visit and feedback. Our staff is always available to provide additional supplies if a guest runs low. Trash cans come with bags, and there should be additional bags in the can and under the kitchen sink. The front desk can also provide additional trash bags and other amenities.All of our units are individually owned and furnished in the owner's individual taste. For health, safety, and liability reasons, humidifiers are available on-request for a nominal fee, from an outside humidifier company which fully sanitizes and maintains them between guest use. Some Diamond-rated units may have built-in humidifiers as part of their HVAC system as well.

We will stay at this central location in Vail any chance we can! The condo was large and well-maintained. Even our friends staying at the Grand Hyatt were very impressed with our unit. They spent more time with us than at their own hotel. The pool and hot tubs were a huge plus! The staff was fantastic!!! Looking forward to our next stay... :)

Great location off the path and very close to gondola. Well appointed kitchen makes meals easy to prepare. The one strange item is that you have to throw the deadbolt for the room to be secure. The doors do not lock automatically.

With all of our condos having actual keys instead of key cards, you are correct - you do have to remember to lock your condo instead of it automatically locking behind you.

Perfect location for my Vail visit! It was only a short walk to the Eagle Bahn Gondola. It was also close to the Arabelle where my daughter and family were staying. The ski locker and parking were very convenient. The bed was comfortable.

Hi Nelli, thank you for your feedback - we always appreciate it. The Lodge at Lionshead has gold, platinum and diamond rated condos. Gold is going to be the lowest rated condos, then it goes up to platinum and diamond is going to be the highest rated condos. If you originally booked a platinum 3 bedroom condo, we upgraded you to a diamond 3 bedroom as unit 350 is diamond rated. Next time just give us a call and we can help you get the condo that's right for you!

The right choice.
Better then expected. The unit we stayed in was clean, comfortable and in good shape. The location was perfect. Right in the middle of the village. So walking to lots of restaurants or to either lifts was only minutes away.

This condo complex is in a good location but the property itself has seen better days. It looks dated and run down. The staff is ok, but not what we expected. The unit we rented reeked of cigarette smoke - it was terrible. It permeated the sheets, towels and it made the stay pretty unpleasant. We checked in after hours and told the staff about the smell the next morning. Their only response was to offer and “oxygen cleaning” that would require us to be out of the unit for several hours. We were visiting for a wedding and we needed use of the rooms throughout the day to get ready for the wedding - it wasn’t feasible for us to leave the room for the afternoon. We felt that we should have been offered some other option - another unit, something - given that nowhere in the rental information did it state that the unit was a smokers unit. Additionally, the unit wasn’t as clean as it should have been - the carpets looked unvacuumed and in general, the unit has clearly seen better days. I’d never stay in this complex or condo again. There are so many other comparable options in Vail, look elsewhere before settling for this.

Hi Gianna, First of all, thank you so much for your feedback. I’m sorry your stay with us was not up to your expectations. Lodge at Lionshead is a non-smoking facility which is why no unit would be advertised as a “smokers' unit.” Unfortunately, not every guest follows the rules and it sounds like the guests prior to you did not. I’m sorry we didn’t catch that before you checked in. Each condo is sprayed with a Geneon disinfecting mister as soon as a guest checks out and prior to being cleaned for the next guest. The housekeepers also have windows opened while cleaning so may not have noticed the smoke. Regardless, we never want a guest to check into a unit that smells like smoke, so I’m sorry that happened. We would have loved to offer you another unit if we had had one available, but were sold out for the weekend. The other solution was to try the ozonator and that does take some time – about an hour. As for our property, it is not a recent build. However, the exterior of the building you stayed in was renovated in 2008 and refurbished again this past May. The units themselves are all individually owned and have all been renovated – some partially and some entirely gutted. They rate from Gold (moderate) to Platinum (deluxe) to Diamond (luxury), and are priced accordingly. Thank you for the feedback on the condo you stayed in, which was a Platinum. We always pass along comments like yours directly to the owners, so they are aware of upgrades that may need to be made. The next time you come to Vail, our general manager would be happy to work with you directly to find the perfect condo for your group. We’re also happy to recommend other properties in the area that might be a better fit for your wants and needs. We truly want our guests to have the best Vail vacation possible, even if it’s not going to be with us.

Beautiful location
It couldn't have been nicer! Check in was easy and people friendly and knowledgeable. We had a studio with a Murphy bed which was small but we'll designed. They had a board out everyday telling what was happening around town. Bikes to borrow as well as yoga mats. There was a moose hanging out on the property which was exciting to see! Location was super.

Lodge at Lionshead Weekend Stay
Great location close to the Lionshead gondola. Convenient underground parking and use of a ski locker. Hot tubs and heated pool were very nice. Condo unit furnishings were dated but it was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary appliances and utensils. I would recommend for families if you’re looking for a straightforward building in a great location and do not need an on-site restaurant/bar (short walk to Lionshead shops/restaurants)

Our stay in Vail was excellent. The lodge at Vail what is the main factor in making this happen. The staff was friendly and accommodating to all our questions. From check in to check out they were very helpful in all ways. The unit was exceptional that we stayed in and was a great value. The location is right where you want to be. It is between Lionshead village and Vail Village. Everything was clean throughout the facility and our room was immaculate. We use the pool and hot tub’s twice. We had no concerns whatsoever with COVID-19. The Lodge at Lionshead is a great choice for you as a family or couple.

Wonderful stay.
This place was wonderful. Lots of space and amenities available. My boys enjoyed the pool and had it all to themselves. We’ve stayed in Vail many times and this is one of my favorite spots. Location is close to everything.
