<\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">in addition to international level shows and much more.<\/span><\/span><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"vf_iqslk1v9\" style=\"overflow: hidden; border: none; height: 288px; width: 512px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.mx\/fotos\/embed.php?size=resp&amp;destination=40747&amp;int=4&amp;image=40747&amp;template=small-gallery&amp;controls=true&amp;limit=1&amp;experiences=\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\"><\/iframe><script src=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.mx\/fotos\/embed-gallery.js?id=vf_iqslk1v9\" type=\"text\/javascript\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Personally, I love spending one or another season a year in Mexico City and some friends and acquaintances are surprised when we mention it, as it is not common for them to consider the former Federal District as a place to vacation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">But my family loves going to Mexico City for many reasons, among them: we can <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.expedia.mx\/ciudad-de-mexico\/guia-turistica-para-la-ciudad-de-mexico\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">visit historical sites and entertainment centers<\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> at a very good price, and as it is considered a business destination, the <\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.mx\/Ciudad-De-Mexico-Hoteles.d178285.Guia-Viajes-Hoteles\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">offers of accommodation<\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> for weekends and Holidays are always good, there are excellent restaurants, and the Historic Center is beautiful and I find it getting better every year.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">What can you do during a vacation in Mexico City? <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Today I give you some options.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">What to do in Mexico City in summer &#8211;<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> Visit the Historic Center.<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, where you can even take a tour of its domes, see the bells up close and admire the Zocalo from above. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">There you will learn the history of the bell that was punished for many years and you will be surprised with the odd secret that the property keeps. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">You must also enter the National Palace to see the Diego Rivera murals and see what was Benito Ju\u00e1rez&#8217;s room. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Just off to the side is the Templo Mayor, which is worth a whole morning of your time. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The entrance to the National Palace is free, you go up to the roof of the Metropolitan Cathedral paying a very cheap ticket and to the Templo Mayor we Mexicans enter for free on Sundays just presenting our INE.<\/span><\/span><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"vf_iqslnx63\" style=\"overflow: hidden; border: none; height: 288px; width: 512px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.mx\/fotos\/embed.php?size=resp&amp;destination=40745&amp;int=4&amp;image=40745&amp;template=small-gallery&amp;controls=true&amp;limit=1&amp;experiences=\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\"><\/iframe><script src=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.mx\/fotos\/embed-gallery.js?id=vf_iqslnx63\" type=\"text\/javascript\"><\/script><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">What to do in Mexico City in summer &#8211;<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> Two must-see excursions: Teotihuac\u00e1n and Xochimilco pyramids.<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">A wonderful experience is to take a hot air balloon ride over Teotihuac\u00e1n, but if you don&#8217;t feel like it, you can do the most common route that includes a visit to the Basilica of Santa Mar\u00eda de Guadalupe; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">while in Xochimilco you will eat, drink some tequilas and buy handicrafts.<\/span><\/span><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"vf_iqslmepx\" style=\"overflow: hidden;
