<\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">that is why every November 2 we remember and invoke it; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">we dance, eat and drink with it; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">and we even laugh at his ribs. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">For this year, <\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">the Day of the Dead in Mexico City<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> will have an even bigger celebration than in previous years. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It runs from October 29 to November 2 and during those days there will be a series of activities dedicated to exalting and preserving the tradition of the Day of the Dead.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Since pre-Hispanic times in this country, death has been worshiped, of course it was then without religious overtones. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">With the arrival of the conquerors, the Day of the Dead merged with the Catholic celebrations of the Day of the Faithful Dead and All Saints.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The Day of the Dead in Mexico is a unique celebration in the world, which gave it the honor of being named by UNESCO as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity, a distinction awarded on November 7, 2003.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6ikg1_ctJWw\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Day of the Dead in Mexico City: art, tradition and party.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">As a start, it is known that the artist Betsabe\u00e9 Romero, in collaboration with the groups from the Oriente Arts and Crafts Factory (Faro), will be in charge of assembling the monumental offering on the Z\u00f3calo plate.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In addition, there is great expectation for the opening parade, which paints to be spectacular and much better than the one mounted by the filming of Specter, by James Bond. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Although not many details are known about this parade, it is known that it will be on Saturday October 29 through the main streets of the city center. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It has also been announced that it will last approximately 3 hours and that colorful alebrijes, stick figures, huge and dancing skulls will participate, as well as live music with wind bands, percussions and strings.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It is said that the planned route will be from the Angel of Independence, following Reforma, Ju\u00e1rez, Tacuba, Bol\u00edvar and 5 de Mayo, to reach the Z\u00f3calo and conclude the route in Pino Su\u00e1rez. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">But the time it will start and the precise route have not been disclosed.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The theme of the parade will be divided into three parts. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The first will be dedicated to the pre-Hispanic era and the origins of this cult;
