Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig und friedlich gelegen; es war dennoch möglich, tagsüber Getränke im Restaurant zu erhalten (10m von unserem Zimmer) oder im Farmladen zu erhalten. Das Baden im Pool und im Fluss (ca. 10 min Fussweg) war bei der Hitze sehr erfrischend und das Zimmer hatte eine Klimaanlage. “We truly felt at home here – the house and the entire property are a real oasis of peace and relaxation. By car we needed only 5 minutes to the town near by and 15 min to Lucca or to the beach at Viareggio.The two hosts are fantastic – warm, welcoming, and full of helpful information and great tips that made our stay even more enjoyable.Our children were absolutely thrilled – especially with the pool and, of course, the animals.”

“Simply awesome, great historic house renovated with very much care, good location near Lucca (but you really need a car) and extremely friendly and caring owner. Totally satisfied. My only criticism is that Fewo-direkt had technical problems regarding the payment and reservation. I had to talk to the support several times, that was really annoying and timeconsuming.”

“Wir haben zwei wundervolle Wochen bei Susan und ihrer Familie verbracht. Das ganze Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt, ruhig und schön. Der Pool ist sehr groß und man kann sich sehr gut entspannen. Und unbedingt Susans Restauranttipp befolgen. Einfaches Restaurant, typisch italienisch und unglaublich lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder ;)”

“La casa es magnífica por dentro. Los muebles, antiguos, son preciosos, las camas muy cómodas, la cocina completa y los baños buenísimos. Pero llegar A la casa y HASTA la casa es muy difícil. Hasta la casa hay 8 kms de curvas y carretera estrecha. A la casa es una bajada sin asfaltar y empinada que hace difícil bajar las maletas con ruedas etc. Además la ubicación que pone en la página, coordinadas y dirección, te llevan a otra casa distinta. “The location was perfect. We fell in love with Castiglione de Garfagnana and the view from our accommodation was spectacular. We also loved the sounds of the church and cow bells! The accommodation was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed daily walks to the village for morning cappuccini and exploring the local villages and countryside by car.
