What you can expect

Enjoy an express tour to Chichén Itzá, getting the opportunity to learn about Mayan history without taking up an entire day. Receive a 1-hour guided tour of the archaeological site to learn about the history and symbolism of the temples, before getting some free time to explore on your own.

Get picked up from your hotel in the morning and enjoy a light breakfast as you travel into the heart of the Yucatán Peninsula. Once you arrive at the UNESCO-listed Chichén Itzá, embark on a 1-hour guided tour of the complex's many temples, including El Castillo, which is also known as the Temple of Kukulcan—a Mayan feathered serpent deity.

After the guided tour, enjoy some free time to wander the grounds at your leisure, making your own discoveries. Perhaps you find the Temple of Warriors, or El Caracol, an observatory with a spiral staircase made from stone that conjures images of a snail. At the end of the tour, get transported back to your hotel.
