The beds were ok, but i pd. For 2 queen beds and got 2 full size. There was a big hole in the carpeting and their was no phone in the room. When we asked for one the hirl was on her cell phone and didn’t even look up. She just said, ill put in a maintenance order tomorrow. Well we were leaving in the morning. I was very dossapointed on the condition of the room.

Worst Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at, half the lights in the room did not work. The smoke detector was hanging by its wires in the room, asked to get light in bathroom fixed for days and never happened. The parking lot had not been picked up for trash in I don’t know how long, the soap dishes in the shower had paint falling off them both and the shower head barely worked.

Great place.
The hotel staff was super helpful from the moment we walked in. Helped us get some clerical errors fixed and even gave us some tips on where to eat locally. Would definitely stay here again.

Expedia advertised the room as being a whirlpool room but a sign was on the tub stating it was not working, The vanity light did not work, ice machine and vending machine was not working, juice machine was not cooling juice.

the tv did not work, and when i went to call the front desk, the phone didnt work either. Front desk clerk couldnt help. after showering the next morning...NO hair dryer. Asked new front desk person to comp one of our two nights, would not. Calls and emails to hotel manager unanswered. Hampton Inn used to be a clean, quality mid-priced hotel, and you could count on consistency. NOT ANY MORE...

I generally prefer Hampton Inn but this particular location is poorly managed. It was my second stay here when working in Anderson. The breakfast service is terrible, the juice machine stays broken, no milk is put out for cereal, and I'm pretty sure the oatmeal for the second day was the same container as the first day just reheated, turning it into a sticky mess with a dried layer on top. The pool is always "under maintenance" although no one seems to be working on it. The rooms are clean but the floor of the tubs seem unstable as if the subfloor wasn't there. I will not be staying at this location again.

Parking lot was terrible, huge holes everywhere. Sounded like someone drag racing in the middle of the night. Pool was shut down. That's one of the reasons we picked this hotel, was because they had a pool. Was not notified before that it was shutdown.

Good enough for what its for. Barely.
I know that COVID hit hotels hard. However, I stay at this hotel annually and have noticed a gradual decline. There are still massive pot holes in the parking lot. The property is in need of a general sprucing up. When my wife went to use the in room coffee maker, she found it was full of mold. The front desk was made aware of the situation and nothing was done. Couldn't get the room temperature below 74 degrees.

Have stayed in this hotel in the past when it was newer. Owner/operator clearly not spending money on upkeep, repalcement and general maintenance. Does not meet the standards normally associated with Hampton Inn. Will not stay here again

We arrived early and were told no rooms avail. Tried again 1 hr prior to scheduled check in. Still told no rooms then watched numerous people checking in. Was told no room type that we reserved. Was told that couldn’t change room type. When we finally checked in 9 hours later due to the event we had planned they put us in the wrong room we had reserved. The same room we asked at 3 pm and were told they couldn’t do. Front staff Sara was very unhelpful and unfriendly. When we got to our room found used condiment wrappers on floor between bed. This is not representative of what you would expect from a Hampton Inn. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Disappointed
Have stayed in the hotel in years past. Condition of grounds has deteriorated considerably. Grass not cut, parking area in bad need of pot hole filling and repaving. Hotel stands out next to Fairfield Inn and facilities nearby as poorly maintained in comparison. I have stayed in Fairfield next door. Much better place and same or lower price. I stayed at Hampton to use points and remembering it as a much better place than it currently is

Our stay at the Hampton Inn Anderson was perfect for our travel needs as a convenient hotel near the highway for a quick overnight stay. Check in was efficient. The rooms were comfortable. The breakfast was ample with hot and cold items to choose from. The members of our family were pleased with the hotel compared to a couple other hotels we have used in the past at this exit.

Needs updating
Everything just seemed rather dark and in need of updating. Big things like carpeting and chairs, but also small things like the elevator poster that people have vandalized and light bulbs that need replacing.

The building was clean , the ice machine was broke on the 2nd floor , and the soda machine was also broke . A lot of pot holes in the parking area's . But everything else was very good.

Way overpriced for a dated and dirty room
The tub and shower had old stains and didnt have hot water. Took a cold shower then called downstairs and they immediatley said oh okay, so just run it forn15-20 minutes and it will be fine. So this is a normal thing apparently. The mini fridge had so much frost in the freezer section i couldnr use it and i move the fridge over a few inches to discover loose dirt and dried up milk near the door of the fridge. The shelves of the fridge were also sticky and had a few dried milk spots. The tv wouldnt turn on via remote, had to be manually turned on. All these things and more are minor inconviences but add them all together and it makes for an unpleasant stay in a room we paid $160 for.

Check-in Clerk was incredibly accommodating! Room was nice size and very comfortable. Shower had HOT water, if needed; some shower temps are on a “warm” thermostat. Not here! Great shower head too! Hot Breakfast was also incredible! Location is fabulous, close to Everything AND I-69 Interstate. Great Stay!
