Muy bonita y acogedora estancia. Se preocupan mucho por los huéspedes. Nos ayudan mucho. Siempre quieren que uno se sienta muy cómodo. Lo recomiendo mucho.

Excelente servicio y muy buena atención, en todo momento te escuchan y te solucionan tus necesidades. Además de tener una recomendación para todo, mi viaje de negocios necesitaba de impresiones, me ayudaron, un notario, me recomendaron, hacer unas compras y me dieron los detalles exactos. Completamente satisfecho.

Lo pasarás bien!
Es un 3* mucho mejor que muchos 4*. Me encantó. El desayuno no tiene un gran bufete, pero hay lo general y todo es de muy buena calidad. El servicio es sobresaliente, así de sencillo. Recomiendo mucho contractar el transfer desde el aeropuerto al hotel.

Hotel muy agradable y bien situado
Este hotel es un remanso de calma y tranquilidad situado muy cerca de la plaza principal. Sus habitaciones tienen un encanto especial y tiene un patio muy acogedor para pasar la noche. El personal del hotel fue francamente amable. Me volveré a alojar en mi próxima visita a Arequipa.

EL hotel es una casona totalmente rehabilitada. Habitaciones bonitas, con encanto, espaciosas, cerca de la plaza de armas (10 minutos andando). Buen servicio. Totalmente recomendable.

My family and I intended to stay at Casona Solar for one evening but ended up staying almost a full week! The staff and owners were very accommodating with our last minute changes and super helpful with restaurant and activity recommendations. We will definitely return on our next trip to Arequipa!

Nice Hotel, People and View!
The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets, with a view of the nice garden! The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a couple of options! The staff were attentive and provided excellent service. I felt very comfortable there!

Ottima posizione e bella struttura, proprietario accogliente e disponibile. Le uniche pecche sono state il cattivo odore in bagno e la scortesia della signora alla reception. Avendo visto che dietro al giardino c’erano asciugamani stesi ho chiesto al personale se potevo stendere li il bucato e mi è stato detto di sì, peccato che al mio rientro nel pomeriggio sono stata ripresa in malo modo per questo dalla signora alla reception.

Tranquil haven in Arequipa
A converted historical house with two courtyards, one with a garden and one with a fountain. I found a warm welcome here and the staff were very accommodating; a packed breakfast was offered straight away when I said I would be leaving for a tour at 3am. Some might find the rooms a little dingy if spending a lot of time in them: the ground floor rooms in the garden courtyard are really lower-ground floor with no windows. This makes them warmer in winter and cooler in summer (there is no air con). My suggestion- get out and explore Arequipa or sit in the delightful courtyard.

Super clean.
Great location, safe and a few blocks from the center. Really beautiful restored building. Breakfast was yummm with plenty of free coffee refills. Tea was always available. They are very covid conscious and you have to wash your hands when you get inside the hotel and spray the bottom of your feet. Super clean.

Great hotel in the center of Arequipa in a historic building. Service was brilliant and the staff was really helpful with reservations and local tips. The room was clean and the hotel has a lovely garden to relax. Would definitive book here again when I revisit Arequipa

A lovely hotel - with a lovely courtyard just a few blocks from the plaza. Staff were exceedingly helpful with making things happen (our Uber to the colca kept cancelling - and the staff rapidly arranged alternative transport). The room itself was a little peculiar - I think a function of the old colonial architecture - there wasn’t much natural light or air and the room got very warm during the night.

We came to Arequipa for our son's wedding. There were seven rooms reserved by wedding participants. We were so impressed by the professionalism and helpfulness of the staff. The courtyards were perfect for friends and family to gather. The rooms were all unique and beautiful. This was my favourite hotel during our stay in Peru. Thank you, Hotel Casona Solar!

Wonderful place. The room was adorable and the patio space was great. The staff was so kind, even packing us a lunch when we had to leave early (missing breakfast).

Beautiful property with 2 courtyards to enjoy. Our room was very large family apartment and the beds were very comfortable. Good breakfast. Outstanding staff service and friendliness, they helped us book bus tickets and taxi and their laundry service was good.

Boa localização
O hotel é bem próximo da Praça de Armas e dos principais pontos turísticos. O Sr. Josué é muito simpático e auxilia no agendamento de passeios e com dicas sobre a cidade. Infelizmente tive problemas com a lavanderia, encolheram todas as minhas roupas. Então, não recomendo o uso do serviço.

Great place to stay in Arequipa
A wonderful small hotel with beautiful gardens and very helpful and friendly staff. Nice rooms although we all wished for a window that can open or some kind of adjustable room ventilation. Also, bathroom would benefit from extra shelves in the shower and by the sink, as well as from a light colored shower curtain (to let more light into the shower). Other than that, room was spacious and clean and quiet. This was a peaceful oasis in the middle of a busy city. Would stay here again.

Lovely stay: nice room, friendly and professional staff that speaks English, beautiful and serene courtyard and gardens, excellent breakfast, nice boxed lunch when we had to leave early, close to the main square, restaurants and shops (walking distance) yet away from all the noise. Affordable laundry service. Things to improve: install more shelves in the bathroom shower and by the sink, install a white shower curtain that would let more light into the shower, slightly improve cleanliness by washing bed skirts and duvet covers more often (bed sheets were crispy and clean). Things that cannot be improved: room ventilation is lacking as there are no windows that can be opened and left open if it gets too hot. Room sometimes felt stuffy and hot. Would stay in this hotel again.

Amazing! The 17th century colonial building is renovated into unique rooms, and we were offered three to choose from. Lovely courtyards to relax in, three blocks from main square, yet quiet inside. Excellent breakfast, helpful staff. Best hotel of our trip!

Outstanding service/Exceptionally clean
My husband and I stayed overnight. Arrived late and left before breakfast. When leaving they presented us with a packed continental breakfast which they volunteered without us asking. The hotel was sqeaky clean. I could not find a spec of dust in the main areas or our triple room which was double storey with two bedrooms, lounge/dining, kitchen and separate bathroom. Wifi was excellent.

Everything, from the room (space and comfort) and personnel were great. They even offered us to stay in our room after check out, as they knew we had a very late flight. I would have given it a 10 out of 10, had I had a tiny bit more light in the room, and few additional smiles at the check-in. I realized however - later on- that people in Arequipa are polite in kind, despite the fewer smiles at times. I do recommend this place, and as a bonus, you get to sleep in where a former Peruvian president lived!
