Beautiful, welcoming, peaceful place in the heart of Assisi. The husband and wife proprietors renovated the building that is Portico 10. It’s on a Roman foundation. Rooms are magnificent. Breakfast was all home made - breads and pastries. The hotel captures the spirit of medieval Assisi with 21st century amenities.

Room was really nice, very clean, and modern decor. Wonderful owners, very friendly and accommodating. No elevator but was not an issue for me. Owners helped carry luggage. Great location in Assisi… halfway up the hill and located next to great shopping and easy to get to all the churches. If coming by train best to take a taxi for front door drop off. Owners provided me with the contact information for a local taxi driver. Great breakfast with homemade bake goods and eggs to order :)

The B and B is exceptional! Unbelievable! Best place we have stayed in during our trip ! The host carmines and Lea are wonderful and so talented in all they do ! Having renovated the space together ! So clean so modern and comfortable the breakfast was amazing all homemade cakes and jams very very good ! The area is hilly just be aware but what a holy and beautiful little town We will go back just to stay here again !

Carmine and Lia are warm and charming hosts. The hotel is immaculate and the beds are more comfortable than our own at home. It is located right in the center of town where all the sites and shopping are. Highly recommended.

Portica10 is a lovely modern B&B located very close to the Piazza del Comune and the tourist info centre. We stayed for two nights and found the facility extremely clean and comfortable. The owners Carmine and Leah were very pleasant to deal with and were very accomodating. Breakfast was excellent and featured Leah’s fresh baked scrumptious cakes and pastries. We would recommend this B&B to anyone wanting to visit Assisi

We loved our stay at Portico 10! Lia and Carmine own and run the hotel, they are kind, caring and attentive. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Lia also makes delicious pastries and pancakes for breakfast each morning.

We had a fantastic stay and was very impressed with the beautiful design and decor in our room and the entire building! The beds were very comfortable…even the pull out couch for my son. Our hosts were also fantastic- warm and welcoming and very helpful. We also really enjoyed the breakfast with the homemade cakes, breads and jams!

This accommodation tops ALL the places we’ve stayed in Italy. The staff are gracious and so hospitable. Incredibly welcoming. The room, building, the terraces…all first class. Breakfast in the morning was bountiful and delicious. I recommend Portica 10 absolutely!!!

Nice spot with great staff
Nice hotel in good location. Staff was very friendly and helpful in many ways. Lots of great homemade goods in breakfast- including juices to order. There was no elevator which was difficult for one member of our party, but that was my only complaint.

Incredible Hotel and the best Hospitality
We have traveled all over Europe, and have to say our experience at this hotel was first rate. The location is great, the decor is beautiful and well thought out, and best of all, the owners Carman and Lea were incredible hosts, taking care of every need and more. Highly recommend. Absolutely Awesome Stay in Assisi
Excellent hotel right in the centre of Assisi. You can easily walk to all the sites. 5* room with very modern fittings and bathroom. Lovely breakfast with freshly squeezed juice and homemade bread and cakes. The owners are so friendly and helpful. We had car trouble and they helped us communicate with the workshop and sort things out. Thank you. We will recommend Portico 10 to everyone.

Proprietari gentilissimi e struttura ottima!
Struttura nel pieno centro di Assisi, comoda per tutte le visite. Gestione familiare con grande cura dei dettagli. Disponibilità massima camere molto belle e curate. Colazione spettacolare, con prodotti fatti in casa. Se ritorniamo ad Assisi sicuramente torneremo.

Meravigliosa struttura in palazzo storico avvolto dalle mura romane, in pieno centro ad Assisi, la posizione consente la visita dell’intera città a piedi, camera molto spaziosa, citatissima nei dettagli e pulitissima. Da rivedere l’insonorizzazione delle finestre (la notte può essere rumorosa) e la colazione non abbondantissima e servita al tavolo a causa delle norme anti COVID-19

Gentile ospite, siamo contenti che sia rimasto soddisfatto della struttura e della sua posizione. Ci dispiace dover sentire che la colazione non l'abbia soddisfatto altrettanto, forse perchè nel rispetto delle normative anti covid - 19 dobbiamo servire al tavolo e lei si è limitata nel chiedere, ma di sicuro non avremmo mai limitato le quantità delle portate della colazione se lo avesse richiesto. Le nostre colazioni sono composte oltre che delle solite fette biscottate e gallette di riso, biscotti e marmellate confezionate, sono ricchissime sia di dolci fatti in casi ogni giorno, di salumi e formaggi Umbri vari e freschi di giornata, di marmellate rigorosamente fatte in casa come anche la frutta fresca tagliata e non, diversi tipi di cereali, diversi tipi di latte vegetale e di yogurt, estratti di frutta fresca fatta anche al momento fresca e diversa ogni giorno, cioccolate di diverso tipo, bevande di diverso tipo, thè e tisane varie sia calde che fredde,etc.... è una colazione continentale composta sempre e ogni giorno di prodotti sia italiani che internazionali, sia per le cose confezionate sia nei dolci. Inoltre soddisfa ogni tipo di esigenza anche senza glutine, senza lattosio e vegana. Inoltre laddove dovesse richiedere l'ospite una qualsiasi altra cosa che magari sfugge all'occhio, siamo pronti a soddisfare ogni esigenza e desiderio. grazie e a presto

awesome little italien Hotel
We just loved our stay at Portica 10 from the beginning to the end. It was such a pitty, that we only stayed for one night. The whole team, (family run hotel?), the room, the hotel facilities.... just everything was perfect for us. It feels like you live with a very rich italien family :-) This hotel small hotel in the middle of the lovely city is more than just a jackpot!

This small hotel, is actually one of most favorite stays.. ever! Assisi is so beautiful! If you go...stay here! The owners are not only professional but very kind, as well. It’s a very new and very clean property. Tastefully decorated with an old world charm, and all rooms, are smart rooms. Very nice breakfasts with homemade cakes. FIVE STARS, PLUS!

Excellent accommodation
I was a little hesitant to book this B&B since we normally book 5 star accommodations and there was no star rating. I loved this hotel. I had booked the suite but after finding out it was three flights up with no elevator, we were moved to the first floor suite which was fantastic. The room was wonderful with old world charm, modern amenities, great location. I would give the room a five star rating!

Everything was great. Close to the cental square, a roof terrace with beautiful view. I especially like lightning in the room, you can choose different variants. Very good breakfast: local cheese and meat, cereals, homemade cakes, yogurt and juice. I really like homemade jams and real variety of fresh and dried fruits. Our room faces the street and you can hear noise from walking people but it does not bother us, they was not too loud. Thank you, Carmine and Lia! Прекрасный отель. Кажется, впервые в жизни не могу вспомнить ни одного недостатка, даже самого маленького. Возможно, не всем понравятся стеклянные двери и стены в санузле, но нам это не мешало. Понравилось все, хочется отметить террасу, с которой открывается прекрасный вид на окрестности, замечательный завтрак с фруктами и домашним джемом, мне также очень понравилось, как сделано освещение в номере, можно выбрать из многих возможных вариантов освещения тот, который подходит вам.

Cerchiamo di lavorare ogni giorno nel miglior modo possibile! Ci fa molto piacere che abbia gradito ogni aspetto della struttura e dei nostri servizi, sempre a disposizione dell'ospite per garantire il maggior confort. Per quanto riguarda la terrazza...l'aspettiamo d'estate per rilassarsi ancora di più sui nostri lettini e divanetti, e godere della bellissima vista della verde Umbria. "HIGHLY RECOMMENDED" - character-filled; very clean; modern; classy comfort at an affordable rate. Excellent high standard B&B right in the heart of Assisi's main street, close to all amenities and tourist attractions. We would confidently recommend B&B "Portico 10" run by Carmino & Lia who are warm, welcoming hosts. Breakfasts were delicious and accomodation facilities were more than sufficient! Easily accessable customer car parks are available for those with hire vehicles at around €11 per day ( there is a one way driving system around Assisi and the customer parking is well signed) **No general parking is allowed directly outside ANY B&B in Assisi, hence customer car parks are available just a few minutes walking distance from your accomodation** Assisi is a stunning place to visit with loads to discover - the location of B&B "Portico 10" made it very convenient to explore, never feeling too far from our base.
