There were also lots of nice personal touches such as treats in the fridge and helpful brochures and other tips for places to go and things to do. “White Rocks, just stunning! From the moment we walked through the front door we felt at home and at peace. Even though the location is so close to the Main Street it is so quiet and serene. I was not expecting the kitchen to be so well stocked, and very much appreciated the bottle of wine, loaf of bread, milk, juice. Eggs, bacon, tomatoes and all the other things you could need. “Well stocked with good quality products from toiletries to coffee/tea breakfast supplies even a 1lt. juice and milk. The only minor negative, no drinking water supplied for taking medication or middle of the night drink when you get up with a thirst . They also offered a cheaper night extra stay and a later checkout which was great.”

“There is no question that the property was as advertised and more. The cottage was spacious and very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals. The dining area was comfortable as was the living room. We never attempted to use the tv so I can't address that. Perfect spot for us to go where we needed easy access to the Adelaide hills attractions. Quite location but able to have a good time, neighbours are good. They shared the history of the homestead and the local insider information.They made our visit to the Barossa Valley so much more memorable and interesting than it otherwise would have been. “The place is basic and simple, as expected. The carpet was grey with dirt in areas and needed a clean, however the owner is now trying to charge me $165 for cleaning the carpet due to dog smell. This is after we paid him $60 extra in cash to be nice as we had 3 dogs. This was above what we already paid just as a nice gesture. The owner, David, still tried to charge us for cleaning even though he advertised it as pet friendly and we ticked “pets” as coming. Very opportunistic and...

The breakfast supplies were such a nice touch and plenty of food for 2 people for 2 nights. Would highly recommend and would love to go back and stay again. ”
