Beautiful little cabin, very solid with heated floors! It was so quiet, and the comfy beds provided great sleep. We watched movies on the big tv and curled up for reading on the sofas. Kitchen had all the cooking utensils and dishes, so it was easy to prepare meals. Perfect place to get away from it all to relax, rewind, and renew.

It was beautiful, even though it rained most of the time. But we enjoyed sitting on the front porch watching it rain. Would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

Cozy Cabin
This cabin was the perfect spot for our BRF trip. It was nice to have a “home” to hang out at with my daughter and dog while my husband went hunting. The neighborhood was quiet and you felt like you were the only ones around.

Beautiful Amish constructed cabin. Simple and cozy. Quiet setting. Slightly rural but not isolated. Great hosts. Would definitely visit again!

Relaxing getaway
My boyfriend and I booked this cabin for a quiet relaxing getaway, and brought our dog. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. One thing worth mentioning is that there is actually a newer large flat screen tv with direct-tv that is not shown in the listing photos. We also enjoyed hiking at the nearby County parks. We also took our dog to the canoe launch right down the street. The river there is actually super clean and shallow. It’s perfect for dogs, floating, or park your chair and enjoy a beverage.

Unplugged Paradise
My son was going to propose to his girlfriend so we had to play it off as just a visit. We wanted a quiet spot for me to bond with our 4 adopted little ones, I left the hubby home until proposal day : ) The kiddos loved the place & I could keep my eye on them in one central spot where I relaxed. Which is huge for 4 little ones. The property was well managed and even though we had a hiccup with the oven going out the property owner was wonderful in communication and made things right. There is not a bathtub, just a stand up shower. The kids got their first shower since the trauma they endured & they simply loved it. It was a perfect healing moment! There is a swing next to an area with bench seating & fire ring to roast s'mores. The porch swing was perfect for morning coffee while listening to the birds. There is traffic noise but you don't see it and it doesn't drown out the sounds of nature. Check out the chamber of commerce they have loads of things to do without having to do searches. The flooring is concrete so in the summer it is very cool but in the winter it is the main source of heating. Socks or house shoes are suggested for those who get cold feet. Big Heads up NO WIFI & signal can be hit or miss. Even the cable was spotty when we wanted to just catch a show before bed. It really made us focus on each other & not other ways to entertain ourselves. It was a wonderful stay & will come back.

I think that may be the most well written review I've read. You 'felt' the Cozy Cabin love and also that nothing is perfect! I will always try to make the things within my control right and make sure my guests have a fun and relaxing stay. And you didn't penalize me for the things outside of my control, like an oven that decided not to work or the traffic on a Memorial Weekend. Perfect little cabin

Great Getaway Cabin
This is a very nice well kept cabin with everything you would need for preparing meals. Love the extras: benches around the fire ring and chairs on the front porch along with a swing.

Wonderful cabin!
My sisters and I had a weekend mountain bike getaway together. This cabin was the perfect, homey place! It was so cozy, had everything we needed, was close to the biking, was clean and conducive to a relaxing weekend. Hope to be back some day. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Short and sweet
A short but sweet stay at this cozy cabin. Super clean and had everything I needed for my stay. Including a morning visit from a doe, spotted fawn and young buck. Looking forward to returning. Jennifer & Jeff are great responsive hosts.

The place was clean to a point, we know being rustic it would have some dust and such, but there was dog hair on furniture, floor, my fiance actually swept inside a bit and the porch and wow! The amount of dog hair! When we got there we had to make the beds ourselves, not already made like the pictures, washer wasn't hooked up, but drier had laundry in it. For what they charge for a cleaning fee we would have thought it would have been dusted, swept, beds made. Says not to wear shoes inside, yet expect to walk on dog hair then? Some positive is there was TV and had satellite and upgraded! Huge TV although we didn't spend much time there to watch TV. Lawn could have been cut, also looked around for a lawn mower to do it ourselves....no luck but not surprised haha would also have been great to have some flood lights around the place to see when it got dark out while outside. Another thing, watch your step going into the house as you will trip over it multiple times, so be careful! For a place to sleep I guess it was okay but so much we would do differently if it was our place. For the price, definitely expected more.

Extended Stay
I stayed at the cabin for 5 months. It exceeded every expectation. Jennifer and Jeff were great hosts - responsive and helpful when needed. I wanted a quiet getaway and the Cozy Cabin fulfilled my quest for solitude. It is very close to stores, restaurants, hiking, beaches, fishing, etc. Yet far enough to feel hidden away in the woods. If you are able to sit quietly and simply observe, you may see deer, rabbits, several varieties of birds and butterflies. You may be visited by the hummingbirds. At night you will hear the coyotes, the peepers and maybe an owl. The moon and stars are beautiful - especially on a clear crisp winter night. The sunrise shining through the trees makes sitting on the porch swing with a cup of coffee the perfect way to start the day. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and baking. This is a special place and I look forward to returning.

After a crazy year, it was great to start the new year off with some joy! Very quaint, quiet cabin. Loved the location and coziness. Property manager was friendly and helpful. Plenty of outdoors activities to do around the area, we loved it!

Chasing the Elusive Buck
I absolutely loved the cabin and all the amenities. I was all alone, unfortunately, but the cabin was so cozy and comfortable I really was able to relax and enjoy the entire week. I didn't get a deer, but the stay was wonderful.

Just a great place to stay. I stayed while hunting some nearby property. The cabin had all the comforts of home and gave you that "up north feeling". I thought it was great and plan to stay again.

Pandemic peace
We stayed at the cabin over a three-day weekend to escape from the redundancies of pandemic life. The cabin itself was perfect for the two of us and our dog (can accommodate more easily). We went hiking at nearby parks and enjoyed quiet time, TV, and a fire (with smores!). We were lucky to have a different cat visit the backyard each morning. Since we carried in all of our groceries (again, pandemic) we didn't explore local businesses, but there are several very close. I'd rent again for just us or a friends' get-away!

Socially Distanced Bday
Since my son couldn’t have a traditional bday party this year, we rented a cabin for something fun to do. We had a great time hanging out inside, making a fire and swinging outside, and hiking the nearby trails at Wazee Lake. Six thumbs up!

Great Getaway Cabin
This is a great little cabin for a secluded get away. We stayed here about 6 years ago and it’s just as good now as it was then. Relaxing on the front porch after a day of hiking and biking was great. Excellent value.
