Tournament Break
Great get away during a hectic baseball tournament weekend. The owners are super responsive and accommodating . Really enjoyed our second stay at the Urban Pines Compound. Will definitely be back.

Can't wait to go back!
This place is the perfect get away. So much to do in the surrounding area and enough on the property you dont have to leave. We were there for a baseball tournament but plan to go back for a long fun weekend soon!

Quick getaway for our 23rd anniversary
This tiny home was so nice! We had everything we could possibly need. It was decorated so beautifully, located in such a quiet and cozy setting, yet minutes away from a great selection of restaurants, etc. Stanice was the best hostess, checking in to be sure we had everything we needed yet giving us plenty of privacy. We will 100% definitely be back and are also planning a trip with a few other couples for a weekend getaway to hang out together with a perfect separate tiny home for each couple! Cannot wait to go back! Thank you Stanice for such a wonderful time!! We loved it!❤️

TRANQUILITY
If I could give a 10 star rating I would! This property was amazing starting on the drive in, felt like heaven! The grounds are immaculate, the host was over the top amazing and the tiny house was impeccable! We were only able to stay for an event but I would have preferred to spend the entire weekend just soaking in all the beauty and peace that was offered! I can't even say enough good things! We hope to return VERY soon!

You won't be disappointed...
My wife and I were just looking for a peaceful place to get away for a long weekend. Found this place and my wife is intrigued by tiny house living. The Southern Comfort tiny is spotlessly clean and well furnished! You will enjoy your stay in any of the tiny houses with the pond for scenery. Very picturesque!

Quiet, Beautiful & Perfect
I had been working non-stop for months towards a four-day event that took me from Tampa to St. Louis (driving) and away from home for two weeks straight! On my drive back to Tampa, I decided to stop half-way through to rest, quiet my mind, and recuperate for a few days. I picked this location because of other reviewers’ comments on its beauty and serenity…and I was NOT disappointed! Upon immediately driving up to the tiny home, I felt months of worry & anxiety melt away in exchange for joy & relief. I rested, hiked, cooked, climbed (at Noccalula Falls) & even had fun with the baby goats on the property! This is exactly where I was meant to be & I will remember it always!

Lovely
Friends from different states met in the middle at this property and had a wonderful, quiet visit with walks around the pond, firepit talks, cornhole tournament and good food. Tiny house had everything we needed to fix meals, was sweetly decorated and just what we wanted for a girls weekend! Thank you!

Home away from home with amenities
We have a special place in our heart for these tiny houses. I just wish we got to spend more time on the property this last trip. I may have over planned our week. Just not enough fishing time and I think that’s what everyone was looking forward to. Everything is always beyond expectations. We’ll be back soon.

What an awesome experience!
My husband was not quite sure about a tiny house but wowza! He is a true believer NOW! Everything was perfection and we are so happy we chose this option! We had all we needed and more. Baseball mother/son weekend⚾️
Could not have asked for a more perfect stay. Listing and communication were top notch. This was hands down the best weekend, ever. My son caught lots of great bass, we grilled steaks and hand a nice fire going. Highly recommend and will return!!

Perfect 20th Anniversary
This property delivered above expectations. Pictures cannot do it justice. Personal touches add a lot to the experience. The owners make check in and out super easy. Your privacy is a top priority to them. The location seems secluded because it sits back in the woods and fields behind a neighborhood. The pond is clean and beautiful. We loved the fire pit each night and hanging out on the floating doc in the morning. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. We plan to go again next year.

Tiny House Retreat
My mother, husband, and I traveled to Boaz to attend my father’s funeral. The Black Tiny House was the perfect place to retreat to after an emotional day. It was such an adorable and cheerful little house, full of character and all the comforts we needed. The view and the property was very peaceful as well. We felt like we were in our own little oasis. Amazing!
This was such a well thought out, beautifully done, tiny house. Everything was as mentioned and shown on the description. The outdoor space is so much fun even in the 32° weather. We were able to walk around the pond, we were able to use the fire pit, it was absolutely wonderful. Communicating with the host was seamless, and she was very quick to respond. Overall, a great house on a great property, look forward to visiting again.

Wonderful Getaway
This is our second vacation at Urban Pines and it was wonderful! We had such a fantastic time exploring, being outside by the fire pit, grilling, fishing and relaxing! The Tiny House was amazing, it is so clean and comfy. Everything you need is there, all you need is food and fishing poles! The owners are just as wonderful and very helpful when we had questions about the area and things to do! I highly recommend staying at either of the Tiny Houses, you won’t want to go home!

Tiny House, Great Experience
If I only had one word to sum up our experience, it would be WOW. From the moment we drove onto the property, we just knew it would be amazing. First, the house... It was spotless when we arrived. My wife raved the entire weekend about how well appointed it was, and how much effort the owners must have put into designing and decorating it. Next, the property... Beautiful and our kind of place. The firepit sits right next to the lake and there was plenty of firewood. The lake is full of fish. I caught several large mouth bass and a few Bream and Bluegill. One bass snapped my line with ease, and I can't imagine how big it was. There is lighting all around the property. The floating bar is so cute. We didn't get a chance to climb and enjoy the tower/balcony next to the lake, but it is adorable too. The property is gated, so we felt safe, even as we enjoyed the firepit late into the evening. Lastly, the area... We enjoyed it so much. Hiking at multiple nearby parks (Horse Pens, Noccalulu Falls), local antique shops, great restaurants and a couple of breweries with super friendly staff and patrons. The owners were great. Very responsive. Rent with confidence. 5 stars all the way.

2nd Stay did not disappoint!

Amazing Mini Getaway
Definitely five stars! We loved staying here for our 30th anniversary. The house may be a tiny home but the personality and things to do outside was all we needed and more. The Gray's made sure the house had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We loved being outside fishing (yes there are some big fish to catch), cooking on grill, walking on the pond bank, sitting on the floating dock, playing cornhole, and ending with a fire in the fire pit every night. We even had a chance to meet the Gray's for a few minutes as they were working to improve the experience by adding two swings and a upper deck for sitting and overlooking the pond. Great people. Can't wait to go back. Thanks for the hospitality!

The fact that it was a tiny house was cool enough! The owner was so friendly and communicative! The property alone was so beautiful and peaceful! Anniversary Getaway
My husband and I stayed the weekend at the tiny house to celebrate our 14th anniversary. It was the most perfect relaxing weekend. We had everything we needed! The pond is stocked with fish (we must have caught 20). The house was clean and cozy. We hope to return this fall with our 2 young boys.

“Tiny” Gem!
This beautiful tiny house was the perfect place for our short stay in Boaz. It was very clean and perfectly decorated, like something straight from HGTV. We loved all the outdoor details too including the front porch, fire pit, string lit picnic table and path. The lake and the floating bar area were such an added bonus! I highly recommend booking this tiny house before it’s all booked up. We will definitely be back!
