Convenient and easy to get to
Our daughter is at App State and we are trying every property we can when visiting. This was our 4th and one of the best for convenience to downtown and the campus. Loved the roominess in the house and the ease to walk everywhere.

Hoppy Holiday
We stayed over the Easter weekend. The home was clean and a great location . Easy walking to town and the grocery was one block way. The neighborhood was convenient for waling our dog. The only reason I gave it 4 stars as a overall rating, is because of the road noise.

We are so happy you enjoyed your stay ! We are located on King St so road noise can be a factor. We will have white noise machines on site that can provide a buffer for those that might be bothered by it. The upside is that you can't beat the location. Thanks again! Denise

Great Location
We enjoyed our stay very much. It was a very convenient location for parking the vehicle and walking everywhere we wanted to go this time of the year (Winter). We found the house to be a nice place to stay in downtown Boone. House was clean, always a great thing to have. Great communication with host throughout the whole process. Will look to book again in the future.

Great location
You can't beat the location if you want to walk King Street and App State campus. The house is old and eclectic. It had the items we needed to be comfortable. I would bring a noise maker and/or sleep mask if you are a light sleeper due to busyness of King Street. I enjoyed the hustle and bustle and "nightlife" but one of my kids has more trouble with sleep and it kept them up at night.

Great Location!
Location was great for a football weekend (we were the envy of all the other football fans in the area walking by and asking how we got so lucky to be staying here). My husband was happy to relive his youth and dine at the Daniel Boone Inn which was also a short walk from the house. We would have given 5 stars just for location alone, but were also pleased with how well decorated and clean it was inside. It’s clear the owners take good care of it. And a pet friendly rental also makes it a great find! We hope to return!

Great house with a great location to App State
Stayed here while moving our oldest into App State. We enjoyed the great location to both downtown and the campus, while giving us the comforts of home. Would definitely stay again.

ASU Reunion
The house was perfect for our ASU Reunion. A friend and I walked to our events on campus. The house was very tastefully decorated, and we loved everything about it. We enjoyed sitting on the side porch too. I hope to stay here again. Denise was very helpful.

House older and a little rough around the edges. 2nd night there was a frat party right behind us with outside blaring music until 4:30am. Got about 2 hours of sleep.

We genuinely regret that you had a negative experience as such is unusual for our guests. There is a noise ordinance in our town and we have never had this complaint before as we do not have a fraternity living near our home. I am sure the town and the police would have addressed the issue. Cute Cottage in Boone
The cottage was super cute and clean. The listing was very accurate. Location was fantastic- so close to everything in town! It was a great rental property.

Amazing as always
Once again the property, process and owner were amazing. There is a reason we continue to come back multiple times a year. Location can’t be beat and the house itself is quant and inviting. We were fortunate to find this rental and will continue to come back as often as we can.

Fantastic Location
First…. You Cannot beat the location of this little gem! Communication was excellent, check in easy and the house is full of the charm older homes have! We were able to walk everywhere during our trip…which was great; no fighting for a parking space. NO concerns with noise while we were there despite it being on a busy road. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Boone!.

Wonderful home!
My husband and I booked this home during the first week of January for our twins’ NC State ski trip. It was in the perfect location for trips to the ski resort in the morning and wonderful restaurants in downtown Boone in the evening. The home is adorable, extremely clean and Denise was attentive to all our needs during the trip. When we had an issue with the sofa bed rendering it unusable, she had an inflatable bed delivered the same day. She was very easy to work with and it made our trip that much better. My husband, twins, dog and I will definitely stay at this property again in the future!

Great stay
We loved being right on King Street and within walking distance to so much but the streetside bedroom was very loud throughout the night. Also we would have loved to have had a clean, working grill. Otherwise it was great!!

Perfect location!
This charming little house is the perfect location in Boone. We walked everywhere and never worried about parking. There is a grocery store 3 doors down which we found very convenient as well.

Mini vacay in Boone
Great property! Everything listed was as it appeared! We had a wonderful time visiting our son and daughter-in-law! We were able to enjoy dinner and breakfast together as a group before heading out to grandfather mountain today !! I would highly recommend this property if you are wanting to relax and enjoy time with loved ones !!

Great walking access to downtown happenings.
This place was cozy and perfect for a Mom's weekend away. We had 6 in total and while the 2 queen beds were quite good, the pullout couch would not lay flat. Overall, we would stay here again and had such fun going on hikes, visiting breweries, and enjoying some time together!

Came to Boone to watch GSU Eagles win the series over Boone and stayed in this perfect little house. Peking wasn’t that great but everything else was PERFECT!! Very close to any and everything Boone has to offer! Whenever back in Boone this will be the house we stay in.

Very Comfortable Stay

Great place to stay! Great location!
My family and I stayed at this location after a day of snowboarding. It was close to Application Ski Mountain and several restaurants. We were able to walk to dinner to avoid paying for parking or just trying to find parking. The house was very clean, cute and comfy. I would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable and warm during a Winter storm
A friend and I brought our daughters to visit App State for a college tour. Despite visiting during the worst winter storm of the season, a foot of snow, high of 24F and sustained 27 mph winds, we stayed comfortable and warm in this lovely little house, which is perfectly located close to campus and Boone‘s restaurants and other amenities, all of which closed due to the storm.
