Ubicaciòn excelente, centrico pero tranquilisimo
Si vuelvo a Brasov, no dudaría an elegir este hotel. Se encuentra a pocos minutos andando del centro de Brasov pero en una zona muy tranquila. La habitación amplia, muy comoda y con calefacciòn (necesario en invierno!) estaba bien cuidada y limpia. El personal fue muy agradable.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 days. The check-in and check-out experience was smooth. We had nice rooms. Mine was on the top floor, but the floor was creaky. I'm not sure if my neighbors besides and below me heard it, but I tried not too make too much noise. The amenities in the room were great, except that you should not flush paper through the toilet. The hotel has a nice charm to it. There were some old collectibles and a nice old map of Romania on the top floor. The hotel does not have an elevator. The breakfast is good, with also an option of ordering eggs. The hotel has few parking spaces, which is not enough for all guests. There is a chance you will have to park down in the streets below. The hotel has a very nice terrace with view over Brasov (including the famous Brasov letters on the mountain), and you can walk quickly to the Brasov main square. The hotel is nicely located. I had a good experience at this hotel.

Enjoyed our stay
Location was very good about a 10 minute walk to centre of old town. Room 12 was very spacious with a nice balcony. Bed was comfortable and made for a peaceful sleep. Parking available on site.

Very good hotel, service is excellent. Room was spacious and bright. The outdoor are has a wonderful garden and great views. It is however on a fairly steep hill - without a car it may be best to take a taxi up. There is no lift. If your room is on the third floor you'll have to climb about 60 steps. If you're up to it, it's worth it. I loved my stay there.

Very nice Pension, within walking distance of the Black Church and Main Square. Heating/AC was not working, but the staff fixed it promptly. There is no elevator, to the higher floors, so if you have heavy luggage beware.

Views and great location!
Great hotel with lovely views. Room was large with a balcony. Bathtub even had jets! Easy walk into the heart of the Brasov with lots of restaurants and sights. Very friendly staff! I plan to go back and use this as a base to explore more of Transylvania.

Great hotel in Brasov
Clean, comfortable. Great location, 10 minute walk to center of Old Town. Fabulous staff. Took an all day tour, and airport transportation with Ionut/John. Great english, nice, honest, responsible guy. Breakfast was wonderful, made to order + buffet. If we ever go to Brasov again, we will definitely stay at Casa Cranta, no question.

Hotellet ligger på c:a 10 min gångavstånd från gamla staden på en liten höjd. Hotellet i sig kan upplevas som lite slitet men har även sin charm. Hotellet har också en liten terass med utsikt över staden där man kan avsluta dagen på ett rofyllt sätt. På nedsidan skulle man kunna tycka att det är lite brant att att gå till och att parkeringsplatserna är för få.

Casa Cranta has beautiful rooms most of wich have balconies. The terrace is very nice as well with an incredible view. The only thing that needs improvement is the breakfast. Few options, no fresh fruit and they charge extra for the good coffee.

Hotel was very well located within walking distance of really nice areas of Brasov. The staff were very attentive throughout our stay and were great about communicating on travel opportunities within the area. Overall a great stay.

We loved this quaint hotel. It was set up on a hill and had a beautiful view of Tampa Mountain. It was so enjoyable to eat breakfast outside on the terrace with this scenery. The staff was always attentive and friendly. The hotel does not have an elevator, but I thought this added to their charm. We only had less than a 10 minute walk to pedestrian area of Brasov. Would highly recommend this hotel if you enjoy quaint properties. Only suggestion - bring own alarm clock because you are not be able to receive a wake-up call.

Personnel très gentil. Un seul problème : pas d'ascenseur et nous étions logés au 3ème. Si on a une valise lourde....Petit déjeuner très correct. Pas loin de la vieille ville. Vue agréable.

Excellent hotel with lovely staff. Our apartment was spacious with lovely mountain views, had large dining room and spacious bedroom. Balcony was lovely to sit on at night and had nice views of the mountain. Decorated with nice wooden furniture appropriate to the hotel. Room had jacuzzi and air con which helped as during our stay it was very hot. Has nice garden with table to eat, drink and relax outside. The food on the two nights we eat in the hotel was very nice. The hotel is also near to the town centre (5 min walk) but is off any main roads, so quiet at night. Car park small but staff helped park on road outside on one night we could not park in the hotel car park.

Dirty hotel!
Most probably last renovation was made 40 years ago. Its very very dirty, the furniture its....no comment! Maybe they have one room renovated and using Photos like standard for all hotel.....Its a hotel for 2 stars, max 3 stars somewhere in 1980. Its a shame, as the area and villa its perfect to made the best hotel in Brasov.
