We really liked the affordability and convience of Brisbane International. The staff were friendly and accomdating. The location was also good for an event we were attending and the amenities were good. The 2 bedroom apartment fit a family of 5 comfortably.

The reception staff were all lovely but can’t say the same about a senior restaurant staff member. I ended up leaving the restaurant before I even ordered and walked across the road to subway for dinner instead. I’ve spoken to the complex about the experience. The room was clean but needed maintenance - plaster off the wall, freezer iced over, mould in shower, no screen on the window, bathroom vent so loud it sounded like a helicopter taking off. The bed was very comfortable though and I did get a decent sleep.

Place was ok
We had a one night stay on new years eve as we were flying out of Brisbane New Years Day. The room had obviously been shut up before we arrived as it was super hot when we opened the door. Lucky for the aircon. It was an ok stay, nothing to rave about, a bit dated. And it was unfortunate the restaurant was closed over the xmas/new year period. We asked for a late checkout but they were only able to give us till 10.30 so it was lucky we had family who were able to pick us up to spend the day with them.

Hello Natalie, we welcome your honest opinion because, as a family-owned business, we are always maintaining our surroundings and are in the process of steadily upgrading our premises. We appreciate it's very hot at the moment, but we have great air-cons in the rooms which will get the rooms cool nice and quick.We were super busy at the time you stayed, and sometimes it's not possible to do a later check out. We are glad to at least give you a little extra time.Apologies for the Rocklily Restaurant being closed. The pool could have used a clean. I know it’s an outdoor pool and expect some debri but it was clear that it hadn’t been cleaned after a storm the previous night. Just a minor niggle. Overall loved the stay and will definitely stay again

Staff were great and accomodating. Room was a great size with two chairs and room for your suitcases without having to use an ironing board for one of your suitcases. There was a pool (though it had plenty of leaves floating on surface) and restaurant in the complex…both were great!

Very safe location, the only thing i would consider changing is the office layout in the front office not really ergonomically friendly, i would also place fly screens on the doors and windows for natural air flow, as the rooms get very hot, especially for the bathrooms they look like hospital windows- poor ventilation in rooms.

I was disappointed there was not tea and coffee making ability particularly given it was a 2 bedroom unit. my only issue happy with everything else.

Hi Diana, I'm terribly sorry to hear this. As our apartments are fully self-contained with full kitchens, we always supply tea and coffee making facilities. The supplies are usually in the cupboard with the mugs. I will be sure to double check the room you stayed in. Thank you for your feedback, and I'm pleased to hear everything else was pleasant.

I would have given 5 stars except we were woken on Sunday morning at 8am by the noise of a leaf blower & heavy rubbish being thrown into a truck right outside our window. Sunday Morning????? The bathroom could do with a new door. Overall I would have said an okay place to stay.
