We stayed three nights as a base for visiting Glacier National Park and it was a good location for that. I noticed a Sun Tour bus picking up guests, and I highly recommend a Sun Tour.
The hotel is under construction with unkept landscaping, and the swimming pool was closed. Stray dogs greeted us arriving and departing each day in search of a handout/food. We never felt unsafe. The room rate was very high for what it is, but there's not a lot of choices in this small town area.
Short-staffed causing rooms not to be ready. Our friends couldn't check in until 8pm. Trash bins always full in common areas and elevators.
A basic buffet breakfast included.
Room seemed to be clean with a comfortable bed but junk pillows. The furniture dated/worn. I enjoyed the Premium TV channels. Very good internet in the room.
Staff are not overly friendly, except for Beth at the front desk (spotted everywhere). Beth was wonderful, super helpful, a rockstar!
Limited dining in Browning and the surrounding area. We shopped at IGA grocery within a mile for items to keep in the room fridge. We did have a few meals at the Casino next door. There's a bar/lounge and a walk up counter to order food (same menu), plus a coffee shop/cafe. Food is just okay and the pricing adequate. The Casino staff were helpful and friendly.
