We were not told ahead of time before booking this trip that September is the only month that this property is allowed to do construction so the entire time we were on vacation we couldn’t sleep in, relax, or enjoy our time in the room or even by the pool because all you heard was construction. Tried reaching out to the owner, they finally got back to me and their only reply back was they could move me to another room but it didn’t matter because construction was going on all over the property so that did not solve anything. Ver disappointing considering how much we paid for our stay. Will be reaching out for further action.

Dear Arzou,We regret that your stay did not fulfill your expectations. The month of September, immediately following an in-season, is utilized to maintain the grounds, and make needed repairs to individual units and the resort overall. Information to this effect is shared on our website. Unfortunately, the risk of disruption is ever-present during this time, particularly as it is hurricane season. This off-peak time is reflected in the lower nightly rates than other times of the year and because the guest numbers are fewer; it allows for a necessary pause in order to perform needed maintenance.Work being performed is limited to the hours of 9 am – 4 pm to help mitigate any possible disruption.Our onsite Concierge is available throughout your stay and our paramount concern is the comfort and overall pleasant stay of our guests. They responded to your call promptly, acknowledging your concerns by offering to relocate you and your party to an alternate unit – at no additional cost. Regrettably, we did not receive a response from you to this end.Villa La Estancia is one of the most well-regarded resorts in Cabo San Lucas. We invite you to return during the in-season, at a discounted rate, in order to share in a premier experience, and look forward to assisting you and welcoming you back.

I was blown away by how nice the finishes were, the bathroom upgrades, the giant balcony. 6 kods and there was plenty of room, 3 nathrooms, it was incredible. Pools were great, the staff was amazing. Best vacation ever, out of over 100.

Love this place! Beautiful view of Lovers Beach. The food and drinks were excellent and staff was very accommodating. Would definitely go back!

This was an excellent place for anyone to stay especially families. The views were spectacular. Access to the beach was on the property and the deli and market were an unexpected surprise that offered another on property convenience (although the prices in the market were on the expensive side). It was minutes from Central Cabo, the Marina and other off property shopping. I’m planning to stay here every time I’m in Cabo.

Dishonest room description - not “oceanfront”
We booked a room at Villa La Estancia because it was described as “oceanfront”. While checking in, I ask reception to confirm that the room they are putting us in is oceanfront. They reply “No, it is oceanview.” I show reception my hotels.com reservation stating “oceanfront”. They say there is nothing they can do about it. I reach out to hotels.com support. They are able to get in touch with the hotel weeks later with the outcome being essentially “tough luck”. I responded back to hotels.com that I was seeking a reduction in nightly costs not a full refund and never heard back. So for this property, don’t believe “oceanfront”.

Hello Jeff, We are sorry to hear of your misunderstanding in referring to your unit as ocean front. The resort La Estancia which is ocean front and sits on Medano Beach, the most swimmable beach in Cabo San Lucas. Within the resort, there are oceanfront units, which are three-bedroom penthouses. These are available at a much higher rate than the unit you booked. The unit you selected is an ocean view, two-bedroom unit. These units are a different category than the three-bedroom penthouses. In light of the confusion, we would like to offer you a 15% discount for a future stay within the next 12 months.
