Buen Hotel
Este hotel es bueno, lo malo es que el servicio de limpieza no lo es. Aparece pelusa en la alfombra en cualquier momento porque la aspiradora no se pasa muy seguido. Los muebles si los vez contraluz se ve que no son muy bien aseados, pero en El Cairo hay mucha falta de limpieza en general, por lo cual se puede pensar que es normal para ellos vivir así. Todo lo demás del hotel es estupendo. Eso sí es caro cualquier consumo, pero como dije puede uno estar a gusto.

El lugar en una buena ubicación y muy segura, me gusto que el hotel tuviera agencia de viajes y ahí podías contratar Tours etc, desayuno bueno y muy variado, lo que no me gusto es que me dieran una habitación para fumar y yo había elegido sin fumar, solo que no me podían ofrecer otra habitación. Y algo desagradable el olor a cigarro de todo el cuarto.

Todo muy bien, solo que des afortunadamente estaban haciendo trabajos en el area de la alberca por lo que no estaba disponible.

This is my favourite hotel to stay in while visiting Cairo! I love the grounds, ambience, wonderful, attentive and friendly staff, beautiful pool, gorgeous old palace features in the main building, and the most excellent location in Cairo on Zamalek. I highly recommend this hotel!

It’s an amazing location and the rooms have a lovely view, and staff were generally nice. The room was not well maintained. There were some issues with the shower. The first day the shower gel was empty ! Then they forgot to refill my Nespresso since I stayed at the executive room. Also, I asked for later checkout (8 PM) and they charged me 100$ extra. I asked to stay an extra hour since my flight was at 1:30AM and they refused ! They said they’d have to charge me a full night. I ended up staying in the lobby for an hour and a half. They never asked me about my experience upon checkout. They don’t value their customers and their relationship is very transactional. The room smelled like cigarettes although it said that it was smoke free and I had to put up with the smell. And finally, their security were intrusive at some moments. When I arrived the scanner did not work so they kept me waiting for 10 minutes, then they went through my stuff. One time, they did a body scan. Which was unnecessary and made me feel uncomfortable.

The staff at this hotel was what made it so special. Omar at the front desk was amazing. They were friendly and always willing to help and answer questions. I enjoyed my 4 night stay and will definitely be back again.

Good hotel. The only down side is the cost, I wanted to extend my stay few more days, they told me the price per night in the final days of the year would be over USD 500 per night, I consider that too much, unless you are a president or a billionaire.
