Very friendly and helpful staff, decent food. The room was nicely furnished - a bit small, but just what you'd expect in a building of this age.

Sadly this property flatters to deceive. On the face of it, The Lodge is a trendy boutique hotel with street art on the walls. However, our room was ill-conceived - a superking bed is great if the room is big enough, but in an ‘average’ size room it meant it felt cramped. What’s worse is that the room was so dusty and stuffy that we ended up sleeping with a window wide open despite it being a cold March night. Paint on the ceiling was peeling off, bathroom badly designed, shower faulty and a questionable room ‘design’ throughout (why put a small and empty room fridge inside a big wooden box to make it double its size and block access to a window? Having a room inside the The Lodge itself was noisy… you could hear those in the adjoining room and footsteps above, below and outside. In fairness, the staff were friendly and breakfast good. This hotel design needs a serious rethink and refresh.

Good Afternoon, apologies for the delay in coming back to you. I'm sorry to hear you felt your room was was cramped and dusty. Can I ask if you spoke to the reception team about this as there might have been the possibility of moving you to a different room if you weren't happy. We do try to resolve all issues if they are bought to our attention at the time. We have some rooms in our courtyard/stables which you might find less noisy should you stay again. A beautiful boutique hotel, with gorgeous rooms and decor. Service was friendly and we felt really well taken care of. Highly recommended and we will be back for sure.

The room I had was excellent and very comfortable. Excellent bath and shower! Nice touch with the complimentary Sloe Gin. TV signal not good though unfortunately.

This hotel is a real little gem just minutes away from the Duxford imperial War Museum and Airfield. The breakfast was delicious and we had a wonderful dinner in the open air restaurant. Highly recommend the Lodge at Duxford!

Charming oasis. Beautifully appointed areas, lovely accommodation. We stayed in rooms 3&4 of the Courtyard area (aka Stables), very comfortable and nicely decorated, kitchen, beautiful bathroom and very comfortable beds. Food service was excellent in dining room and Cafe. The outside spaces are perfect for curling up and relaxing. Highly recommend a stay here to relax and rejuvenate. Fabulous venue for a wedding, family reunion or special occasion.

Room was spotlessly clean, nice bedding and pillows , lovely bar area outside, and nice and quiet. We eat in the restaurant and whilst the menu is a bit limited the food we had was delicious. Nice bar area with good cocktails and a great cocktail barman .

Beautiful spot
Gorgeous buildings in great quiet location but not more than a few miles off motorway. Bit of a mix up with our booking but quickly resolved. We stayed in the stables which were lovely and warm despite the heavy snow. Sadly no veggie options for dinner as the food looked great but pub around corner provided.

I stayed in loft 1, My room was clean well decorated, there was plenty of staff on hand if assistance was needed, who were well dressed and very friendly and helpful.

Lovely place
Amazing stay, food and staff. The only thing that let it down for us was privacy! We had a stable room and the only window was beside the bed on a walkway so curtain was closed all off our stay which made the room very dark, its painted a dark colour too so that didnt help! There was a gap at the side of the curtain which then looks through to a mirror just opposite the bed so we had to turn that round! The door also opened up and you look straight onto the bed from the back of the hotel. I would certainly stay again just different room.

Very convenient for a visit to Cambridge with easy access to Park and Ride. Newly refurbished, comfortable bed with some nice welcoming touches in the room. It has a far more casual feel than it did previously but still overall good.

Lovely boutique hotel lacking water pressure
Nice and newly renovated room. Towels were missing upon arrival but the reception got them up to me. The water pressure in the shower was not existent for a few minutes the second day probably since I was showering at peak shower time? I managed though. Food at breakfast and dinner were great. Overall I would recommend! Nice boutique hotel.

Stylish and comfortable
The hotel was very stylishly decorated and in excellent condition. It would be good if as much attention was paid to the operations. Service was very friendly but amateurish. Several orders were delivered incorrectly or were checked again after having been taken. Two used items were not replaced in the room when it was cleaned and serviced - a glass and fresh milk for tea and coffee. The wardrobe was large but had only five hangers and no shelf space. Overall we had a lovely stay in a beautiful hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful, it could just do with sharpening up a bit.

Such a beautiful place to stay. Decor was nice and the grounds were well looked after. The staff were extremely friendly and very attentive. Lovely bar area and even though we didn’t dine there, we saw the food going out and it looked so good. Approx 20 mins drive from Cambridge but free parking so quite pleased. Would definitely recommend!!

The hotel is really nice and trendy, there was an issue with flies in the dining room which was very annoying when eating. I stayed in the cozy room and it was very noisy, someone hoovering at 22:00 and also first thing in the morning.

Night away to visit IWM Duxford
The Lodge was a very funky looking hotel, evidently recently developed with a boutique feel about the place achieved with dark opulent colours and modern grafiti art. The service was friendly and accommodating and the price point was about right for the standard of accommodation. There were a couple of small points which could improve the experience. The coffee maker in the room wasn't very good; there was no hair dryer in the room; not sure what the point of having minibar type fridges in each room is, if you're not intending to fill them with goodies. Having one simply to chill a small bottle of water seems overkill. The units simply emit heat and noise into the rooms... I get the aspiration but not the application in this case. We also dined at the hotel, the experience was excellent, again with very accommodating service. The choice quality and flavour of the food was superb. Breakfast was of nice quality, and very filling. Overall a great place to visit - Would definitely come again!

Not the best reception.
The reception staff let the overall impression down badly. Their insistence on taking full payment on arrival set the wrong tone. There were issues regarding the room rate and they said breakfast was not included, but that they would include it if we agreed to the higher room rate. Next morning the breakfast waitress insisted that they had not agreed to this, but that she would agree to a low value meal. We ended up with the worst plate of scrambled egg we have ever experienced. It was a shame that they had spoiled the overall experience, as the cocktails and dinner the evening before had been exceptionally good.
