“A very pleasant stay. Good room size which was in good condition with all the amenities you would expect. Large comfortable bed and an excellent power shower. Good quality tea/coffee with branded chocs which was a nice touch. Very friendly welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The food in the restaurant was excellent, tasty, large portions and reasonably priced. Wide choice of breakfast options. Will stay there again if in the area.”

“Staff friendly and attentive when we arrived and nice room. However, for the price improvements need to be made: - main issue -we booked a room advertised to be for 3 adults and stated was a king size bed and a single bed. We had a call on the day of check in to check it was 3 adults (as opposed to 2 adults and a child) which we confirmed was the case. When we came to check in, the "single bed" was actually a fold up camp bed with a very thin mattress which was not fit for purpose for an adult....

“Good place to stay for south Cambridge. Rooms are fairly compact, heating was a bit erratic in that too hot in the evening and none in the morning. Breakfast was good but it would be nice to have some fruit ”

“One of four rooms in an adjacent block (so no disturbance from the pub), the room and bathroom were very clean and provided everything needed for a one-night stay. Appears to have recently been refurbished. Good-size shower cubicle and good quality towels provided. We chose twin beds and they were full-size singles, unlike those often provided in smaller hotels. Room was large, warm and well lit. Breakfast was continental and pre-packed in a small 'fridge, consisting of one croissant...
