Wonderful family experience, very inclusive atmosphere, very safe. Amelia and son Pepe, Lewis and Becky, all made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend. Very central to Varadero's downtown amenities.

Amelia was an amazing host and provided great service. She has a very beautiful yard that’s gated for better security. The room had a big comfy king size bed with ac, tv, fridge and a rooftop patio facing the ocean. The location was nice and close to restaurants and downtown Varadero. She’s got a lovely little dog that’s nice to hang out with. I’d highly recommend staying with her. It’s your own private apartment connected to her house but you don’t hear anything. It feels like your own place!

Amelia and her son Pepe were excellent hosts. Very kind, informative and helpful as we navigated the travel and local currency. The property was very well maintained and we felt safe in our room. It was great to have access to a fridge inside our room too. There walk to Varadero beach was easy, plus restaurants and the beach bus. Highly recommend.

We had a two night stay at Varadero D'Amelia just before Christmas and it turned out to be a wonderful start to our Cuba adventure. Amelia and her family were very welcoming and they provided excellent advice on local environs including places to eat and see. In the end our stay at Varadero D'Amelia was a great introduction to Cuban life and culture and our only regret is that we probably should have stayed longer.

Abbiamo soggiornato qualche notte, si trova vicino al mare e con un taxi si arriva in pochi minuti nella zona dei locali e ristoranti per la sera. È pulito, però una volta hanno saltato le pulizie della stanza e il cambio asciugamani adducendo varie scuse. Non c’era colazione anche se l’annuncio diceva che era inclusa.

Our host at D' Amelia was awesome !! We enjoyed interacting with her. She was extremely kind and helpful and offered excellent recommendations for dining. I was excited to book in at D' Amelia when I read that Laundry and A Spa service was offered at this Hostal, however disappointment took over when we arrived on July 23. There was no laundry service, no Spa, and no Golfing !! To the advertisers, "BE TRUTHFUL"

Bon choix si vous appréciez les casas
La Casa est très soignée, on sent que la propriétaire ne laisse rien au hasard. Très bon accueil. Le petit déjeuner est de qualité (mention spéciale à l'omelette -:)). Vous pouvez trouver moins cher mais il faut connaitre. La plage accessible en quelque minutes comme souvent sur cette presqu'île.

Amazing stay at Casa Amelia
Staying at Casa Amelia was a wonderful experience, Amelia couldn't have been a better host and her son Pepe made delicious breakfasts ( small extra charge)The accomodation was comfortable, spotlessly clean and literally 250m from the stunning Varadero beach bars, cafes and restaurants. We would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Amelia était super gentille et accueillante. La maison est vraiment très proche de la plage. Le petit déjeuner avec supplément de 8 euros était copieux. Pour profiter de l’internet il faut bien acheter une carte du magasin à proximité.

This was perfect for our family with two good sized rooms that were clean and a bit off the main avenue. The rooms have AC to let everyone get a good night of sleep. View of the coast and a basketball court from the rooftop. We enjoyed watching the sunrise there. Amelia was pleasant, spoke decent English (our Spanish isn't very strong) and helped us along.

Chez Amelia tout a ete super. C est une femme remarquable au petits soins. La chambre est grande et tres spacieuse. Tres grand lit confortable. Les dejeuners etaient copieux. La maison est pas tres loin de la plage et de plusieurs restaurants et boutiques. La plage est magnifique. Je vous recommande fortement. C est un endroit tres tranquil et pres de tout.

Sehr angeneme Gastgeberin, um unser Wohlbefinden sehr bemüht. Wir durften auch noch nach dem Auschecken das Bad benutzen. Gutes Frühstück. Praktische Lage, Nähe zum Strand, Restaurants und Busse alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Würden wir sofort wieder buchen

Amelia and her son was very helpful with everything. The breakfast was excellent with lots of fruits, bread, omelette and fresh juice. The house was incredible clean and we could enjoy a huge terrace. The room was also very clean and it was quiet during the night. We will definitely stay there again if we come back! Close to the bus station and to restaurants. The beautiful beach is only a few minutes away by foot.
