Cómodo, nuevo y agradable hotel
Nuevo hotel muy recomendable para visitar Chefchauen con excelente ubicación para explorar las calles. Muy buena vista desde la habitación y desde el último piso. Atención excelente por todo el staff. Cerca de pequeños restaurantes y con algunos lugares de estacionamiento en la calle.

Far from city center and Unfriendly staff and not welcoming. Poor WIFI, very old towels and sheets even not one hanger for clothes in the room. No one at reception while leaving hostel and feeling unsafe there. Have no idea how got award as advertised! I choosed there because of good reviews but not at all was as lwritten. Don’t recommend it to anyone.

We liked our room it was spacious and clean. The staff were so friendly. One thing we didn’t like was the hot water in the evening that wasn’t hot enough for taking shower. In the morning the water was good.

While the accommodation itself was satisfactory, my overall experience was marred by the unprofessional behavior of the reception team.I believe it is essential for the management of the Hotel to address the training and conduct of their reception team. Guests deserve a welcoming and helpful reception, which was regrettably absent during my stay.

Big Disappointment
This hotel, though fairly new, was a huge disappointment and a missed opportunity. Thankfully, we were only booked for one night and one night was enough.

The Vancii is in a fantastic location close to the Medina with an easy walk to get there. However the ‘superior’ room we booked the TV wasn’t working & there was no fridge to keep drinks cold. When staff were approached about these issues they assured that the TV would be fixed & a fridge would be provided. Unfortunately the most important of these requests was ignored! The chose to fix the TV & not provide the fridge as promised! If I stayed again I will be making sure the room allocated has all the amenities advertised & that they are all working!

Very modern and beautiful hotel. Extremely clean and has the best views on the rooftop overlooking the city as you enjoy your breakfast. Staff is very friendly. This place is a must stay in if you are looking for comfort in chefchaouen.

Property was centrally located in the heart of Chefchaouen and easy accessible for taxi pickup. The terrace was great on top of the hotel offering panoramic views - just at night, the terrace is public to all and you need to pay for a drink to be able to stay which wasn’t clearly indicated. The room was pretty basic but clean. Unfortunately, there was major construction next door and was heard all day into our room making it less relaxing for napping.

Could have been so much better
The hotel is in a great location, and the rooms are smart and clean and have everything you need. Unfortanetly despite requesting a quiet room, I was put in one which made it sound like I was sleeping on a very busy street, with barking dogs, tooting cars and people talking and yahooing until the early morning. This was compounded by the terrible smell eminating from the bathroom, which I now note, is mentioned by a number of reviews. I complained straight after check in but was told by a defiant unhelpful young guy that the place was fully booked for both days of my stay and there was nothing that could be done. Thankfully Hind, on reception in the morning when I was about to check out early, saved the day and moved me to a higher floor, that was quiet and did not have a stench coming from the bathroom. Hind was very helpful and professional, as were 70 per cent of staff. It was let down by a couple who werent. I also must commend the delicious chinese food in the restaurant, which made up for an average but free breakfast. After very few hours sleep, I was about to

Very good boutique hotel. Staff was very friendly, and helpful. Only drawback was the single room needs somewhere to hang up the clothes, even if it’s overnight stay. Also, a chair in the room would be beneficial. The cleanliness was a big plus.

Great hotel in the heart of medina , new hotel built a few years ago , rooms are very comfortable , breakfast is very good , roof terrace is amazing . Staff are very friendly and accommodating , help with any questions related to city or near by places , walking distance to plenty of restaurants and shops and about 15 min walk to ras Elmaa water falls which is a great place to explore , and you can walk further up to the Spanish mosque after the water fall . CTM bus station is about 20 min walk (downhill from the hotel) or 5 min by taxi .. overall great hotel and staff, highly recommended

Great hotel!
A lovely Moroccan hotel very close to the main plaza and with nice views across the valley. The staff were super friendly and helpful and while not exactly luxury, much care had gone in to the aesthetics of the property. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent stay! I came with my brother and 2 sisters and had a great time! Comfortable beds, clean, good breakfast. Staff was outstanding. Especially Mohamed, the manger of the breakfast. Very friendly and helpful! Will definitely come back.

The hotel was centrally located so was perfect to walk to near by restaurants and sightseeing. Overall a good hotel to stay in. Our room had a musty order. But it was a busy hotel.

Grosse déception. Accueil froid, on nous attribue une chambre soit disant supérieure qui donne sur la rue passante avec une fenêtre qui ne ferme pas et la télé qui ne marche pas. J'ai du insister plusieurs fois à la réception et faire constater par un technicien déjà au courant des problèmes de cette chambre pour qu'on nous change de chambre au dernier étage et de moins bon standing. Aucune compensation proposée. Aucune insonorisation des chambres, les femmes de chambre qui gloussent dans les couloirs à partir de 7h et vous empêchent de dormir. La terrasse est très jolie mais ne vous atardez pas à prendre un verre, le service et la qualité sont nuls. Enfin dernier point, l'hôtel appartient à un chinois. Clientèle essentiellement asiatique et tout est écrit en chinois dans l'hôtel. Il y a sûrement moins cher et mieux dans chefchaouen...
