I checked in 4/17 and was supposed to check out on 4/24. I liked there was a kitchen option, make sure to have your own cooking ware, toiletries, and extra toilet paper (get only 1 for your entire stay).
Someone in the staff didn't inform tenants that there would be a hotel orkin fumigation, upon booking or even checking in to grab keys. An instructional letter was given on 4/22 we must vacate the premise on 4/23 and to prep the room for the pest control. The time was from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm with Orkin's recommendation to stay out of the suite at least 1 additional hour after the service is completed. "A $50 will be charged if you're suite is not adequately prepped. Continued lack of cooperation will lead to non-renewal of your stay. In Town Suites Management "
They expect cooperation and if not you'll be punished with fees and not allowed to stay again. I feel so unwelcomed, taken for granted, disrespected, and inconvenienced.
I was put under great pressure to find somewhere to go, the unexpected changes messed up our plans for the day and for the trip.
I spoke to the front desk face to face, explaining that this was a huge inconvenience for scheduling of our stay, toxins are too high for us to stay, and that it would be best to refund my money for having to check out earlier, without awareness of what was happening. I also wanted my money back to find another place last minute and without a kitchen. I was told no, that I would not receive a rerefund. I filed
