Not happy if you are charged twice
Not happy because the lady in the front desk didn´t checked if the room was already paid, and not asking my son who was not aware, proceeded to charge the rate of the room who was already full paid in the credit card again at the moment he checked in, so whats the point for paying in advance in Hotels.com if they don´t send the proper info and when you arrive to the hotel they are going to charge you again when you check in?. My son left the next morning and nobody knew if the problem was going to be solved.

Without looking up your reservation I can’t be certain but it sounds like the charge you are referring to is actually the incidental authorization we require for all guests. If you paid hotels.com then we would not have your cc info on file and whomever checks in is required to provide a form of payment for the incidental fee. That thing is released after check out and can take up to 14 days to be returned. Please let me know if you have any questions. Great location, parking was tight but tolerable. Our room was fairly clean, the carpet/floors seemed a bit dirty with visible spots of dirt and stains. Beds were extremely comfortable!

The only downside to this property was the parking. A fee to park plus we had to park a lot over since all the spots on site were taken. Breakfast was great and the location to Germantown was spot on.

Everything was wonderful from check in to check out. A standard hotel room, very comfortable. Easy access yo the German Village neighborhood which is lovely. An affordable alternative to the Conference Center hotels which allowed me to get a better feel for the city. The buses are a little infrequent by NYC standards so you need to time it right to take advantage of them. But there are plenty of Lyft cars around and those electric scooters if that will work for you.

The hotel smelled like skunk weed near the elevators and in the hallways to the rooms. The first room we went into didn’t have all of the lamp shades and the ones that were there had stains. We also felt unsafe bc of the time it took for the doors to close to the room. The front desk was very helpful and moved us to a new room. The new room was cleaner. The iron in the new room didn’t work but housekeeping immediately brought an alternate working one up to our room which was much appreciated. The shower had decent water pressure but the water temperature was only lukewarm. The location of the hotel was good and located near many eating options and German district.

The hotel was pretty clean and the continental breakfast was good. However, when we made a reservation we checked that will pay at property. On the way down to the hotel I checked my bank account and saw that they put a hold on $800 on my account. We intended to pay with a different credit card and my mother-in-law was on the other room but they hit my card for a hold that won’t come off for a week to a week and a half. I have never had this done before and I probably will never stay here again for doing it. We also had issues where we ran out of hand soap after the first day and asked to have it replenished. Our room was cleaned and they never replenished the hand soap. We also never got washcloths so we had to use our hands or hand towels.

We walked into the lobby to check in and it smelled like sewer. The first room they put us in smelled like and old ash tray and the they put us in a different room that wasn’t as bad but the bathroom faucet leaked and water was all over the counter. We had to put a towel around it. For the amount money spent to stay here we should have left but it was a non refundable purchase. Save your money and go somewhere else!

Unexpected fees upon arrival, you get charged to park in the hotels parking lot. Difficulty checking out. Got locked out of my room because the key card failed and waited 10- 15 minutes outside my room for someone to come open my room door and they never came… turns out they forgot I told them I got locked out. Room was clean and comfortable, and it was quiet which was nice but the cons outweighed the pros this time around.

Quiet, nice toom
We came for a spur of the moment trip to see Columbus. I hadn’t been to the Zoo in a while. The hotel was great. The bed was very comfortable. The room was large for the two of us. The shower had great water pressure. The breakfast was very good. It was very quiet.

Great Experience at Reasonable Price
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned daily and the hotel was clean. Location was convenient to local bars, restaurants, coffee shops. Parking easy and in and out. Breakfast was always good with good variety.
