Great for Family Ski Trip!
The house was perfect for our family ski trip. There was plenty of room for all 5 of us to spread out. The house was clean and conveniently located and had everything needed to keep adults and kids comfortable and entertained. We can’t wait to visit again!

Great nordic skiing weekend
Our group of several families enjoyed this quiet, well-equipped, modern house for Alley Loop weekend. It's located close to the CB Nordic Center, with very easy access to the road to Lily Lake. Short walk downtown for shopping and dining. Watching the sunrise light up the mountains as we drink our coffee was magical.

Wonderful home and location
We booked this home for a last minute trip over the Holidays, and were so happy with our choice. The space itself is lovely - very clean and spacious for our family of 4. Our kids loved and loft area, and we there was plenty of space to lounge around the living area as well. We enjoy cooking, and the kitchen was wonderfully stocked with everything - you can tell that the owners arent just doing the bare minimum and keep it comfortable for themselves. The mattresses were wonderful - we all slept very well. The location was also perfect. It was quite cold when we were there, but we were still fine walking into town most evenings for dinner, and catching the bus to ski was a piece of cake. We cant wait to go back again, and definitely in the summer/fall when we would be right across the street from the disc golf course. The only small thing, that really wasnt a big deal enough for us to ask, was that we didnt really know how to control the thermostat downstairs, so a few mornings it was pretty chilly when we got up, but again, wasnt a big deal at all, and is probably our own user error. Thank you again!

Thanks so much, Melanie, for the wonderful review. And, sorry the Nest thermostat was confusing. We will make sure instructions for the thermostat, which controls in-floor hot water radiant heating, are more clear and available. Hope to have you all visit again in the summer!

Perfect Location
This property had everything we needed to make our stay as homey and comfortable as possible! Plus the location is great; close to hiking paths and downtown Crested Butte. Nicest home rental experience we've had so far! Would highly recommend this property.

Tell your friends! Awesome spot.
The pictures don’t do it justice. Spot is great, but one of the best parts was being on the edge of town with a fire pit and creek. It feels secluded and serene. The house is also a quick walk from town and has everything you need. I’ll be back!

Very nice accommodations and amenities for our family of seven! Kitchen was supplied with high quality equipment. Arrangement of bedrooms and bathrooms worked well for older children. Having outdoor space was very important too!

Very Pleased!
We were so pleased with this property! We ended up with three vehicles and the property was able to accommodate all! We loved the open second floor for gathering . . kitchen and living area (plus full bath) . . . my 4 30+ year olds who were put up in the loft may have been a bit miffed with not having their own bathroom up there, but they got over it and managed their way to 2nd floor :) This home was very well stocked . . . lovely sheets, towels, pans, tp, pt, soaps, shampoos, etc . . . we would definitely rent this place again . . property manager is next door and couldnt have been more accommodating . . . it was perfect for our family

Great location-Nice stay
We enjoyed our stay in this home while visiting CB. Nice place w/comfortable bedding, and everything was clean. The house is in a great location, you can walk to all shops, grocery, etc. You'll want to crack a window when you go to bed a night so that the sounds of the creek can lull you to sleep :-). Thanks again for letting us stay!

Perfect in every way!
This house was better than we expected! We have stayed in a number of rentals in Crested Butte, and this one had every single thing we needed & more. There were above and beyond touches like charging stations in bedrooms & living room, and access to back stock of everyday necessities like paper towels and toilet paper. The beds and pillows were super comfortable, and bath towels were like being in a luxury spa! The property manager lives next door and was so friendly and helpful—we were made to feel like long time neighbors. The house is in a great location—close to everything, but felt secluded & private. Some rentals have an extensive check out to-do list. When I asked where it was, I was told, “We take care of everything. Just enjoy!” We loved our time here!

What an incredible experience! The house was stocked, organized and perfect. Fire pit fully stocked with fresh wood. We had the most enjoyable experience. I can’t recommend this house enough. The property managers were outstanding checking in with us on any questions.

Great for long weekend stay
A comfortable condo with a well-stocked kitchen (if you like cooking like us!!) It was great to be able to sit down to home cooked meals or go into town (just a short walk away). My nieces would prefer fewer stairs as they were assigned the top floors (but I told them it was good exercise :)). Overall, very convenient.

Perfect stay!
Everything was perfect.! We had a wonderful stay. It is a quick walk to Elk Avenue, where you can find plenty of great places to eat and a 10 minute drive to skiing. The owners were very responsive and helpful when we were trying to navigate the drive and snow storm. The property caretaker has our path cleared everyday!

Everything you will need for an excellent winter and summer vacation!
We have stayed at this property 3 times in the last year and each time has been better than the last. The layout of the house with 2 bedrooms downstairs and a very large loft on the 3rd floor is perfect for family and friends. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, coffee, etc. The bathrooms are stocked with a variety of soaps, shampoos, moisturizers, etc. The owners and local manager are incredibly responsive. We love this place and look forward to visit number 4.

Second Stay and Perfect Again
This is becoming our go-to Crested Butte cabin. I love how peaceful and quiet it feels even though it is walking distance to everything; the views from the family room are just amazing. Also think the owners have found the secret sauce: Treat your guests like welcome visitors (plenty of amenities and supplies!) and your guests will treat the place like home. Thanks J&J! Great stay in Crested Butte
We had a wonderful stay at the house. It was comfortable, spacious, and fully stocked. We stayed for a full week and easily found everything we could have needed to make our stay comfortable—tea, great pots and pans, laundry supplies, and even a Christmas tree (we stayed over Christmas). The location is perfect. The street is quiet but you are mere blocks away from the town’s Main Street. We could even ski to the Nordic Center. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect location and room for 6
We stayed at Coal Creek Retreat with our 3 adult children for a week. There was tons of space for everyone with 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The kitchen and family room was perfect for meals, movies, cards and games. The walk to Elk Avenue is about 3 minutes. We love CB and hope to be back soon.

Highly recommended
We just returned from a wonderful stay in Crested Butte. I highly recommend this property not only because of its cleanliness, location and the quality of the towels and bedding but the owners were very thoughtful in making available what a traveler needs there. It’s such a pain when you arrive at a house and there are no paper towels, foil, saran wrap etc. They have these items as well as coffee and most anything else one needs. This will be the place we stay should we have a return to Crested Butte.

Perfect Spot for CB Ski Weekend withe Friends!
Jeanine and Jim's home in Crested Butte is the absolute perfect spot for a weekend in the mountains! They have thought of everything with a fully stocked kitchen, bathroom toiletries, extra blankets and linens, and a cabinet stocked full of board games. The accommodations were very comfortable, and the entire place was very clean. The location can't be beat! It's proximity to the main stretch of Crested Butte is perfect. Still set back a bit from all the action of the town for privacy, but only a couple-block walk to all of Crested Butte's shops and restaurants. They were also very responsive in communications, and made sure we had everything we needed. The onsite property manager (who lives next door), was also super friendly and available if we needed. All in all, a 10/10 stay in beautiful Crested Butte!

Beautiful home - 10 stars
I would rate this property and our experience with the owner and property manager ten stars if allowed. This is one of the nicest if not the nicest VRBO homes we have stayed at. It was incredibly well stocked with kitchen, laundry, bath, cleaning supplies. The layout is perfect for families with a large loft, beautiful 2nd floor living room, kitchen and bathroom, and 2 well appointed bedrooms, laundry and bathrooms on the first floor. The house is on a quiet street yet close to the Nordic Center, bus route, and the charming Elk Street shops and restaurants. We were tempted to offer a low rating to scare other renters away so the house would be available when we want it again. We hope to be back this summer and next winter. We loved it!!

Just bring groceries and clothes
This house is completely stocked with all of the body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, bath salts, pump hand soap, dish soap, makeup remover towelettes, paper towels, coffee and Nespresso capsules you could ever use even for a big group. There were also some emergency disposable toothbrushes/toothpaste plus cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, food storage bags and plastic wrap. Don't bother wasting time, money or luggage space bringing any of those items. The kitchen is stocked with every cooking item even a chef would need. It was quiet with great views but close enough to walk into town. We loved it, had a great time and will go back again.....hopefully in 2022 or 2023.

What a wonderful home in a perfect location. House had everything you need, was very up to date and comfortable. Best part was walking distance to town with all the wonderful shops and restaurants and beautiful hiking/biking trails. You could leave your car keys in the suitcase the entire visit…..but you won’t want to with so many things to do within a short drive as well.

Attractive, fun and comfortable in Crested Butte
This up--to-date home is a wonderful place for a family or friends getaway. The large open floor plan, well stocked kitchen and group seating areas allowed for great family meals and together time. The bedrooms and baths are thoughtfully located with quality products, beds, etc., making the private spaces enjoyable, too. Highly recommend!

Great location, comfy beds and family friendly
This was the perfect choice for our family while visiting Crested Butte for a wedding weekend. We had two couples with a total of 4 boys ranging in age from 10-14. The loft area was perfect for the boys. All of the beds were extremely comfortable. The property was well supplied with all the basics including in the kitchen and toiletries in the bathroom. We unfortunately had a very rainy weekend and the small "mudroom" at the entrance proved invaluable for damp shoes allowing us to keep the property tidy. The property location was exceptional - just a couple blocks off the main street in town the kids could ride their bikes for ice cream, mini donuts and a spin through the bike park. Adults walked for coffee in the morning. Even with the rode coming into town from Kebler Pass located immediately behind the property our stay was quiet. Would definitely recommend for other families.
