This Holiday Inn and Suites was an older hotel. It was clean but the edges and corners of the room was a little dusty. The bed was wonderful we had a great night of sleep and enjoyed the breakfast. The price was definitely high!

Great Location to Golden Nugget casino
Staff were friendly, rooms were clean and breakfast was good. Great location if you are going to the Golden Nugget Casino as its very close!

The "absolute dump" you refer to is ranked 1st in 2023 in its competitive set (Marriott Town Place, Hampton Inn, Sleep Inn, Best Western) by Expedia travelers in, cleanliness, condition and facilities, amenities and staff and service. Our "grossly overpriced" rate is generally 20-40 lower than the Hampton Inn and Marriott. Perhaps the Ecolodge, Days Inn or the Red Roof Inn would be a future option regarding a rate which is more competitive to your traveling budget. Safe journeys - Matt Groppi - General Manager

Great Stay
We really enjoy staying at this Holiday Inn. We have stayed several times and we really appreciate the way we are treated with friendly service. The rooms are very nice and clean. Breakfast is hot and plentiful.

The hotel itself is ‘meh’ - located across from the penitentiary. The front desk staff called twice in the middle of the night (each call was an hour apart) and woke us up to ask if we had ordered Door Dash (we had not). There was not even an apology for waking us up- ridiculous and very poor service.

Angela: Apologies for not meeting your expectations. Our location? It is what it is, as it is for the eight other hotels we compete with (who really are across the street from us.) Our service? I agree that was very poor service on my teams part, especially when it leads to interupted rest. Again, sincere apologies for the interuptions. Clean-comfortable, no vegetarian breakfast option.
This hotel was convenient, clean, and comfortable. The location was close to the freeway. The breakfast was really the only disappointing part - because there is not much for a vegetarian. But the most disappointing part was the manager’s response when I suggested for vegetarians they at least add breakfast potatoes. He said “nope, that will never happen because corporate tells what to serve, and that’s it”. Bad response.

Apologies that our breakfast disappointed you due to the lack of vegetarian choices. I'm sorry you were disappointed with my response; as I mentioned (three or four times) the brand determines the menu options and breakfast choices. I am governed by that. While I appreciate your suggestion AND support you suggestionit is not an option for the hotel breakfast or Holiday Inn Expresses. That is a IHG Brand decision - Matt Groppi - General Manager
