It was a very unique looking hotel, and the staff were very helpful. The shower and the bed were my only issues. I think it had hard water buildup, so the flow was poor. Not major, though. The bed was lumpy. The only reason I mention these small things is that they are improvements I would hope for when paying $400 US per night.

Really neat property. They had trouble with technology and my room key did not work so I had to go to the desk repeatedly. Desk was understaffed for a sold out venue, but the gal at the desk did a great job for a tough situation

I liked the convenience and proximity to Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Parking was always available. Only negatives were probably specific to my particular room...I was next to the laundry room and when they ran the dryer it shook the light fixtures in my room. Also the rain caused a near constant dripping/knocking noise in the bathroom that kept me up at night.

Although the bar and restaurant staff were great and very friendly, they were a little difficult to find during the slow times.

Hard to sleep with the heat/aircondioning fan constantly blowing a strong breeze snd no way to turn the fan off. The sink faucets produced a weak stream with no adjustment. Just on or off. Otherwise a nice facility. But don’t park in back as there’s no rear entrance.

The desk staff was very helpful and kind. They helped us with making sure we had 2 rooms near each other & that we were paying the correct rate for the rooms. Kat and Bobbi were very welcoming, shared directions to where we were going & mentioned some places of interest we might like to check out. Following day remembered us - greeting us and genuinely asking about our experiences. Great, clean, & friendly!

The room had not not been cleaned well at all. It looked like they swept the floor and took out the trash. The floors were extremely dirty with crumbs and toenails. They moved us to another room that was also dirty. We went back to the original. This is a great location for concerts at Red Rocks but recommend only staying for the night of the concert. We were there for 4 and it was already paid so we stayed.

Super cool place to stay in Golden. I love it for its convenience to hop on the road to get where you need. It’s quiet, comfortable and a fab place to stay when I’m in the area.

Loved the property but the stench of the “scent” in the lobby and ground-floor areas made us want to leave as quickly as possible without breathing. The Mountain West is beautiful and clean. Get rid of the artificial scents!!!

I stayed here with my husband for 3 nights. We loved everything about the hotel, except for the bed & thermostat. I read other reviews about the mattress being uncomfortable but brushed it off as I’m not as picky. This mattress was seriously the worst I’ve ever slept on. You can tell it’s old. It was caved in on both sides and was hard as a rock. Paired with extra firm pillows made for a rough nights sleep. The rest of the hotel, we loved! Very quiet, modern, nice bathroom. We had plenty of hot water for showers. We set the temp to 66 but it never made it that low. It’s like it was programmed to not get lower than 70. Overall, we loved the hotel but won’t be staying there again due to the bed being so uncomfortable. When we go to hotels, a bed is very important and critical in a good nights sleep.

The was beyond welcoming, helpful, and friendly! The restaurants food was absolutely amazing and the service was quick. Comfortable clean room, with access to just about everything within minutes. Creative and unique bar drinks!

Beautiful property with a spacious dining and sitting area, fireplace outdoor space when it's warm. The style is modern but also warm and reflects being next to wonderful outdoor space. Convenient location next to the 70 for skiing, downtown Golden and Red Rocks Ampitheater. Breakfast was delicious and priced well alot of great options you never see at a hotel. Front desk staff is very helpful and friendly. We especially appreciated the evening/night manager. Fantastic option when visiting Golden!
