Julio, We are sad to hear about your experience during your stay. We are not sure why you changed from enjoying your stay while here to an unenjoyable stay after we were not able to store your luggage. We explained that the room that we utilize was being worked on and we could not accommodate your request for luggage storage. We specify that we are a self check in hotel and have done so for about 6 months. We do have staff on site during the business hours of 8am to 6pm, but keep guest interaction down unless needed.

We had an emergency water leak and our maintenance person went out to the wrong room (wrong floor). So sorry about that.

Guest did not stay, he had a non-refundable reservation. We are called "terrible" because we abide by the terms and conditions of the reservation...

Denver (like any City these days) has people experiencing homelessness on any street and in any neighborhood, not limited to our area unfortunately.We are not a hostel, in hostels the guests share rooms with strangers and have common bathrooms. Our units are not shared and each has it's own amenities, nothing is shared.

Our listing clearly indicates that self check-in is required (this is how we can have flexible check-in times), and since the historic building lacks an elevator, her room was located on the second floor, necessitating only one flight of stairs. Throughout her stay, she displayed pleasant behavior towards our staff and personnel, which made it quite unexpected for us to come across her negative review. We find it perplexing why we would be labeled as "terrible" when the guest failed to thoroughly read the listing. We maintain affordable rates by eliminating a front desk, unlike other hotels in Denver that are at least 100/night more expensive than us.

This guest DID NOT BOOK on Hotels.com otherwise she would have known that we are a remotely managed hotel. This is how we cut down on expenses and offer budget friendly stays when Denver hotels cost triple our rates. This guest booked on Airbnb, and we have all the communication with her saved from that night.We reached out to the guests in the room next to hers and he said he was not even there. the Manager went by and she did not hear anything. Nevertheless, we offered this guest another room on another floor and not facing Colfax, but she did not answer us at all. If she was up all night like she claims, she would have seen our offer and switched rooms. We checked again in them morning and we did not hear anything...Our hotel offers complimentary eye masks and ear plugs for guests with light sleep.

We are not sure if this guest even stayed with us. Nevertheless, if guests do not tell us what they did not like, how can we fix things and get better?

This guest booked the wrong room and blamed us for it. This is a REVENGE REVIEW because we refused to refund her. She did not stay, so why can she leave a review. If this is a bad part of town then all of Denver is as bad. Busy street, with people walking back and forth to restaurants and bars on the longest street in the US.

This guest called to complain about the sheets and we sent someone right away. Once we got there they admitted that it was not “dog hair” like they thought it was, and the other stain was a soap stain that got stuck on the sheet. We replaced everything and they were happy when we left. We are disappointed by this review and we do our best to keep every guest happy. They complained but missed to mention that we took care of the problem right away.
