“One night stay to experience the Periyar reserve close by. Our room was enormous and located near the very back of the property. Sadly building works are directly next to the property so we heard angle grinding. Mgr tried to stop them but only the rain did. Staff amazing. Food delicious. Great cocktails and beers. “We were 17 adults. I booked 7 rooms 4 months ago . I stayed ooty sterling 2 nights ( all 17 ) Kodikkanal sterling had terrible experience. First they don’t have big vehicles access to resort. Second they accommodate 7 rooms , but they charge for 2 adults 3790 for even sleeping in the floor. For 3 days trip they charge me over $ 3000.00 . Very bad ”

“The rooms are well appointed and clean and cosy. The breakfast is nice and the lunch and dinner was tasty. The staff is friendly. The bathroom needs a wider range of toiletries especially shower gel and dental kit. Also, mineral water should be served.. The shower place should have a small shelf to keep shower gel and shampoo. “Wonderful location, a series of very cute cabins nestled into the hillside. We woke up to beautiful views of the forest which we e joyed from our balcony. Great restaurant onsite. The staff were a mixed bunch, the waiting staff were a delight and some of the front desk staff were very helpful ordering cabs for us at 5am, what I assume is the manager left a lot to be desired in terms of communication and politeness. ”
