“Overall our stay was good. Service was really lacking though. There is a lot of reliance on digital solutions for the customer experience but it really isn’t great and trying to get hold of a human is hard. Common sense seems to have departed this world now. Our room was really nice but the balcony was so tired and needed a deep clean. Really old cobwebs everywhere just making it look tired and unloved. Spa was nice but again trying to work out how to just go for a swim took us physically going...

“The hotel overall was very good from check in to check out. Our room was spacious, decor was in keeping with the rest of the hotel. Large bathroom with very nice powerful shower. The location was perfect for the lake and other amenities in Bowness just being a few minutes walk away. Breakfast was nice good choice and excellent service. Would definitely recommend. ”

“Lake nice. Rooms like any Ibis but too expensive. Small swimming pool we didn't use it. And paying extra for amenities and Internet it's just a terrible idea. Why don't they just ad 15 pounds to the price of the room and don't act like a low cost airline. The resort is not low cost. Brilliant lake view from the Lodge. Ugly restaurant and bar. The machines doesn't work they keep your money and lady in reception couldn't help. It's not a 4 stars hotel! ITS NOT LAKE...

“Location is great. Staff are very helpful, breakfast is excellent and lots of choice. We had a superior room at the Windermere Rooms. I expected a better view/facilities for the cost, rooms were very warm but could be easily fixed by turning the radiators down. Floor in the bedroom was slightly uneven which didn’t affect the stay but something I didn’t expect for the price of the room. I would definitely stay again but probably wouldn’t pay for a superior room.”

“I loved the tranquility of the hotel. The only thing I could fault were the bathroom systems and the pillows. The shower did not work very well and toilet did not flush well. Otherwise perfect. The pillows were very high even though we received a choice. But they need flat pillows for some people. I found that using an folded towel solved my problem however.”

“The cabin was perfect, really big compared to other ones ive stayed at. The hot tub was nice and private and such a good temperature. The breakfast was good and the food at the returant was great. Honestly couldnt fault the stay atall. The lady at reception was so welcoming and we will definitely be coming back! ”

“Hotel tranquilo a las afueras de Reading. Aconsejable disponer de coche para acceder al mismo. Habitación amplia, con buenos colchones y buenas vistas al lago. Muy tranquila. El baño necesita alguna mejora. Bañera con cortina, lo cual no es muy higienico Desayuno con buffet frio y caliente. El buffet caliente es a la carta y lo preparan en pocos minutos. Se puede desayunar con vistas al lago”
