We were greeted by the friendly owner. Having a kitchenette and living area was a welcome sight. Our first night (different hotel) was a very small room so the extra space was a welcome relief. The room was very clean and the views were stunning. There is a small deck with chairs to sit and enjoy the view. GPS had difficulty finding this but luckily we found a very helpful person to send us back in the correct direction. It is right on the ring road so it shouldn't have been a problem.

Really great…easy self check-in. Amazing place, would recommend. Defo grab food and groceries at nearby town first. Back porch are amazing place for views of ocean and scenery

Such an amazing pit stop on our way around the Ring Road. Our favorite accomodations of the trip. Modern and clean. It was an amazing view!!! I loved the little trails around to the cliffs. It is a bit far from a town, but we didn't mind and it was communicated well.

Spacious, new, & WOW what a view!
Oh wow, what a beautiful flat. The place itself was spotless and the view was wonderful. The area is a great launching point to drive up and down the eastern side of Iceland. I loved staying here and it was very comfortable. Just a small note that is NOT a negative: There's no TV (yet?), but we brought an iPad so that worked totally fine with the wifi. This would totally not stop me from coming here again and recommending it to others. There was ONE important missing item in the kitchen that's a good note for the owners: There's no dish I could use to bake in the microwave/convection oven combo (I don't think the regular Ikea plates would survive at 200C in the oven for long). That definitely caused us to change our dinner plans because we were planning on roasting some lamb. Anyway, I would totally stay here again, it was beautiful and comfortable.

We wish we could have stayed longer! We were travelling during very bad weather and with expected road closures the owner came to check on us before we took off. She showed us the weather, gave us advice and made us feel like we’d be okay, because we didn’t even know if that would be the case. A great place to stay the night while in the South East! Maybe plan a trip that’s NOT in Winter though.

We received communication from the owner on how to get into the property prior to arrival and they left us to ourselves, which we appreciated. The apartment was lovely and the area is gorgeous, everything we needed in a beautiful location. I would have liked an extra pillow that was the only thing I could say I would change. The area was so lovely and quiet and felt very safe. 100% recommend.

One of our stops along ring road
Out of all the places we stayed this was by far our favorite! We unfortunately arrived around 11pm and didn’t get to full blown enjoy the area but will 100% be back!

Very nice location, by the sea and the mountain. All modern and new. Recommend to stay more than one night. (Used it as a one night stopover but the standing would have make me stay more nights)

Die Lage der Hütte ist toll. Doch leider ist meiner Meinung nach die Hütte für 4 Personen nicht geeignet. Sie ist mit ca. 30 qm zu klein und entspricht daher nicht dem Preis. Zu hartes ungemütliches Schlafsofa, nur 2 Stühle auf Terasse, 2 Küchenstühle und 2 Behelfsstühle, leider nur 2 Platten Herd, keinen Backofen, eine katastrophale Mikrowelle-die Pommes dauerten 1 Stunde und waren immer noch nicht durch...!!! In der riesigen Küchenteile hätte man durchaus einen Backofen und 4 Platten zum Kochen integrieren können. Wirklich schade, das Kochen war für 4 Personen wirklich ein Graus...!!!

Thank you for your stay with us and for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that the kitchen was to small for your group. But I think all our pictures show the apartments exactly how they are and how the kitchen is arranged and what its equipped with. The apartments are perfect for two people, thats why there is one double bed (not two) if theres a family with children or close friends the sofa bed is a great option to share the space. There is enough chairs for everyone and the extra chairs are so easy to move out to the terrace. About the microwave, I wish you would have ask for help with it because I think you had the wrong setting, its brand new and in perfect condition. Wishing you all the best and hope your trio to Iceland was great!

Very comfortable and well appointed little apartment. Beautiful view of the sea and access to go down and walk around the shore (we saw lots of sea birds and seals). Check in was super simple, key in lock box beside the door. Apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you need for a stay and to make a simple meal. Great little patio area to enjoy the midnight sun.

This is a super comfortable, modern spot in a beautiful location. Fully stocked kitchen, so stop at Bonus, load up on groceries and save yourself some money on food. A perfect base from which to explore the Eastfjords.

Amazing property in a beautiful location. We stumbled upon this on Expedia not sure what to expect and booked it. The cabins are very new and in excellent condition. Beautiful spot and so peaceful. Checkin was so easy and the owner was very helpful. Views onto ocean and mountains. Our only complaint was that we didn’t stay longer. Cabin gas all amenities you’d need and is wonderful.
