Excellent hotel and close to everything
Excelent location in financial área. Walking distance to DECC Metro Station so you can access everywhere in the city. The City Center Mall and supermarket are walking distance too. The hotel is great, staff is very nice and respectful, 5 stars. Room and other are in very good conditions. Truly reccomended!

The location of the hotel is in downtown, near a very nice shopping mall "The Gate Mall" and near a metro station. Also it is across the street from the Convention Center. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and we were even attended by the hotel manager.

Fine restaurant closed. No wine on property. Mediocre food the same high prices as better food nearby. Service slow and sometimes nonexistent. For example they offer shoeshine service. When I called for it someone brought me a handful of sponges. That’s not a shoeshine. Also not knowing Doha I was silly enough to pay extra for a sea view room. Between all the skyscrapers you can in fact see a small patch of sea. Not enough to justify charging for it. COVID hurt a lot of hotels. Management of this one has been unable to maintain a culture of service to encourage guests to root for the hotel. Won’t be giving them another chance.

Everything went well until I checked out. They forgot to include my breakfast bill on my invoice so I had to come back to pay for it which is an absolute inconvenience. They have to pay attention ton details like this. What if I’m a traveling customer and en route to catch a flight? Totally disappointing.

A staycation that I could do without
The rooms are clean and we'll furnished and great size. Bathrooms are comfortable so are the amenities. The pools however are not too big and were super full during my stay at all times. They do however offer dedicated ladies mornings during the weekdays.Spa facilities were mixed so steam sauna jacuzzi was being used by everyone including kids.The front desk lady is a bit rude and her behavior remained the same during check in and the call for checkout which was off putting. Other front desk staff was pleasant and all smiles except for her . As for room service Steak was undercooked despite my request of being well done and the order was messed up totally. Greek salad was served with blue cheese instead of feta whereas I specifically asked for blue cheese dressing only. Food choices are limited.

The checked me into a floor which is being renovated with the work undone could even walk to the room from the paint smell ( they changed the room but why put me there in the first place The other room was very dirty you stains everywhere that cannot be removed I would never stay again in this hotel

Great Hotel
I enjoyed my stay very much. The hotel is clean and spacious. The room was big with everything you need. The service was excellent and the breakfast had a large variety of options. The gym is equipped for a great workout and the pool area is very nice. It is at the heart of the city center surrounded by the famous towers of Doha. I would recommend this hotel.

Very Disappointing For a Second Time
This was my second stay at the Wyndham Hotel within a 4-week period. The first time I had booked a Non-smoking Sea View Room and ended up with a non-Sea View Room that had a distinct smell of smoke. On this occasion, the overall experience was worse. Again I had paid the extra to book a Non-Smoking Sea View Room with King Bed and also an Airport Transfer. The transport was 20 mins late in arriving and at the hotel, although kindly agreeing an early check in, my choice of room was unavailable so I temporarily used a Twin Bed room to shower and change. I was assured that, when I returned from a day's work my luggage would be moved to a room type that I had booked. Upon return absolutely nothing had been done and my luggage was still in the same room. The hotel insisted that all I coluld have was a City View Twin Bed Room, which I refused to accept. After some debate, I was eventually and reluctantly 'upgraded' to a suite, which was extremely spacious with view over the pool. The following day, having left the Clean My Room sign on leaving at 0800, when returning at 1600 nothing had been done; I complained to housekeeping and at least got some replacement water and coffee. At 6pm they turned up to clean the room and were sent on their way. The remainder of the stay was OK as far as the room was concerned; however, breakfast was another issue with an almost complet lack of waiting staff on one morning, having to wait over 15 mins to order a coffee. Not very impressive.

2 Night Business Stay
A pretty standard business hotel in the Middle East. The staff were very accommodatiing, especially when organising early check ins and late departures. The hotel facilities are fine. My particular room, which was supposed to have a Sea View, had at best a very limited view of the sea!! It was also a non-smoking room but had a distinct smell of having been smoked in recently. The bathroom was equipped with a shower and a bath; however, the bath was the most ridiculous size I have ever seen and suitable only for someone around 4 ft tall, as opposed to the 6ft plust that I am!

Super hôtel bien situé et très confortable
L'hôtel est très agréable. Le personnel toujours serviable et souriant, toujours là pour nous rendre service. La chambre était très bien. La literie très confortable et des bons équipements. La salle de bains est également très spacieuse et très bien équipée. L'espace des piscines était très bien même s'il manquait des mosaïques et qu'un des 2 jacuzzis ne fonctionnait pas. L'hôtel est très bien situé, à côté de plusieurs malls le Gate Mall et le City Center. Il est également à côté de la station de métro du centre de convention et de la corniche. Par contre, nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion de tester le petit-déjeuner. Une dédicace spéciale à John le concierge qui nous a toujours bien conseillé des idées de visites nous a organisé un safari dans le désert. A faire absolument en prenant l'option diner qui était vraiment fabuleux et inoubliable.

Nice, good value but couple issues
Families on holiday as well as business people so children running around at night not good when on business. Also insufficient main room lighting for my liking... I hate dim rooms in hotels, just don't see why they can't fit more lights! Breakfast had alot of South East Asian dishes/feel, guess they must have alot of Chinese guests?

The staff was wonderful, but to be a new hotel with the access panels in the bathroom hanging out of the ceiling, paint chipping off the ceiling. Then the hot/cold water between the sink and shower were reversed. The faucet in the tub was so slow and the plug wouldn’t hold water in the tub. The bed was great, the view that I was supposed to have was nothing more than looking other buildings. I enjoyed my stay but was far from what was anticipated and expected in this level of resort. For all of the options in Doha, can’t say this would be on the top of my list to return to.

This was our second time staying at Wyndham Doha West Bay and we had another good stay. Check-in was great and staff were able to check us in early which is appreciated after an all-night flight. Executive suite was spacious, thoroughly cleaned daily, had nice views and a well-equipped kitchen. We did miss however the kids playroom which is still not open and we thought the lighting in the living room was too dim.
