Pésima elección no recomendable
Lamento haber escogido este hotel. Al llegar 14.45 dijeron que no había habitación cuando el check in es a las 15:00 pm nos dieron las habitaciones (2) a las 17:10, con pésima atención argumento: no habían habitaciones por una boda que hubo el día anterior. al dia siguiente decidimos descansar debido al largo viaje desde América, y por la tarde fuimos a disfrutar de la piscina, al salir dejamos nuestros equipos en perfectas condiciones (1 computadora y 2 iPads) y pedimos que limpiaran los cuartos, al regresar el iPad de mi esposa estaba quebrado, golpeado de una esquina, seguramente se les cayó accidentalmente. Hicimos el reclamo para saber qué había sucedido, nos atendió el Sr mark quien vio el iPad y le tomó fotos. Quien nos envió luego de varias horas un correo abusivo y ofensivo en donde indicaba que sus empleados eran personas en quien confiaban por lo que no tenían porqué no creerles y en su correo nos ofende indicando que nosotros estamos mintiendo y sus empleados no, e indicando que el hotel no se hace responsable por daños pues para ello hay cajilla de seguridad en la habitación, lo cual es absurdo e ilógico pensar que una computadora y 2 iPads quepan en una cajilla de seguridad. Al final el hotel simplemente no hizo nada. Es lamentable que waldorf astoria tenga un empleado como Mark, tratando a sus clientes como mentirosos, como que fuéramos ladrones o deshonestos, lo cual la verdad no tenemos ninguna necesidad como para reclamar algo que no sea cierto. Un lugar de lujo
El hotel es hermoso, la decoración, la calidad de las comidas, el desayuno completisimo. El personal muy atento y no son invasivos. Tienen dos piscinas para que puedan disfrutar en tranquilidad las parejas sin niños( en una no están permitidos y en otra si). Hay para hacer (con costo) muchísimas actividades en la playa. El spa es muy agradable. Todo perfecto

Perfecto
Esta por demas decir q esta en la mejor ubicacion del mundo. Viaje con mi esposo y mis dos hijas y el staff es super amable, el hotel tiene el tamaño perfecto en las instalaciones que son muy lindas. El buffet del desayuno esta delicioso, tiene variedad de restaurants. Cuando reserve dudaba entre el Waldorf y otro hotel gigante con piscina y parque de agua en la misma palm Jumeirah, pero si lo que quieres es un hotel de lujo sin amontonamientos y aglomeraciones de gente el Waldorf es lo q buscas. Concierge muy amable para resolver opciones para tours y salidas ya que no llevabamos nada programado y ahi mismo nos consiguieron un chofer que nos llevo a Abu Dabhi, a la mezquita y a pasear con camellos en el desierto.

Good location, very annoying that the pool attendants reserve sunbeds for people buy leaving magazines on the beds and try and tell you that peope have been down and put them on there, and gone to breakfast, complete lies as ive seen them place them and reserve for same people everyday, then the people dont turn up till 11/12 to sit on them. That was very disappointing when you go down early and still struggle to get a sunbed in a decent area.

We had an excellent and unforgettable time at Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The dinning experience was wonderful, especially at Laos. We celebrated our 10 year anniversary, upon our arrival, the staff decorated our bed with roses and a wonderful chocolate desert. The beach was excellent, the rooms were clean and spacious. We will definitely return to the Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah on our next trip.

This was the worst hotel experience in my life .We reached Dubai on the day of flooding (historic Dubai flooding )and the hotel stated that they were not going to send airport pick up .We had 2 rooms booked for 4 days and due to flooding on the roads ,we were unable to get there .I called them multiple times explaining our situation and the hotel front desk was dismissive and stated that it was not their concern or responsibility.i asked the If they could move our reservation for a later date or give us room credit but they were extremely dismissive despite me explaining how taxis had refused to bring us to the hotel .I am extremely disappointed and upset .Not sure ,if I will ever stay in a Waldorf Astoria hotel again anywhere in the world and certainly never in the Dubai property and warn anyone making a booking to rethink .

Great place for families with young kids - very busy at the pool so definitely not a place for a romantic adult trip. The staff was amazing - especially the housekeepers and restaurant staff - just lovely. Restaurants are very good quality and food was great.

The hotel is not bad BUT they have events on the beach EVERY DAY THAT ARE VERY DISTURBING. Today one wedding and a very annoying corporate team building event of some sort. The last three hours of the beach day we had to listen to annoying team building coaches.

The condition and facilities are very good, but the staff are what makes the hotel excellent. Wherever you went in the hotel, the staff were courteous and friendly. Everyone went out of their way to help you, with a happy smile. In particular, housekeeping, pool staff, and the team in the Pearl Club made it a particularly memorable stay.

Good but could be better
We love this hotel so we came back this year. It is not a huge hotel so it is cosy and easy to get around. Unfortunately the sheet was dirty when we arrived after midnight. And the speakers in restaurant Lao was so bad it made the experience much less romantic

A paradise of tranquility
Second time and still very good, they think of the basic things..... like an extra bed in the room without asking or charging you for it. Other hotels you have to call them 10 times to to get an extra bed To bad for the roadworks causing traffic delays and next door is a huge construction which causes the ground to tremble and lots of noise but this is both not the cause of the hotel... but it would be nice if this information was provided upfront

When we first got there, the property was closed due to a Government event, which happens and is understandable. I was, however, not given a heads up and no clear indication of what to do. I ended up having to park my car in the street and told to give the keys to a hotel employee. After telling them I needed somewhere to change as I had an important work meeting, I was taken to a near by hotel where I had to change in the lobby restroom (with no changing rooms or showers available). It was not the best experience to have to change in front of other guests and open my bag in the bathroom floor next to the sink as it was the only place were the bag fitted. I was then instructed to leave my bag and given a bag tag. After my meeting, I went back to the hotel to check in expecting some sort of apology for what transpired. I didn’t recieve an apology and there was no initial mention of the events that took place. After I asked to speak to a manager, a very unapologetic woman came and very sarcastically suggested I should try not booking from third party booking sites. She then proceeded to state it wasn’t the hotel’s fault and said she could offer free breakfast, again highlighting that I booked through a third party site and suggested this was why I had to endure such stressful events. I aske requested the reservation was cancelled and the money refunded to my account, being disappointed, it is a 5 star hotel. I recieved no clear confirmation and am still waiting for the refund.
