you came at 8am on a penn state weekend, and rooms were all filled and people don't check out till 11am.check in is officially 2pm. We cancelled your reservation without penalty.If you still think you were charged you can discuss with expedia.

Front desk staff was not very friendly, he wasn’t rude but he wasn’t very receptive either. This motel needs a serious update. Everything is old and outdated. There weren’t enough towels in the room for all guests and hey we’re barely big enough for an adult. A deep clean needs to be done on the rooms. Guests in the room next to me were up all hours of the night, banging on the outside door and yelling at one another through it. Guests next door stood outside of bathroom window talking through all hours of the night. The pictures on Expedia are not true to actual look of property. There is no front desk staff after 11 pm on the grounds. I will never stay here again.

we are sorry you were not happy. We are a very old motel. We could of given you xtra towels in the office. We also had a full house when you stayed..

This motel deserves its high rating. At this price point I was skeptical, but it was a wonderful little place!. Great room, very accommodating staff, parking right outside your door. It had everything you need and lots of restaurants and shops very close enough to walk. Typically a motel this affordable is sketchy, but not the Wye. It was very nice!

The rooms are old. The carpet is worn/stained in spots, however, the room was clean, the heat worked perfectly, the bed was fairly comfortable , and the shower had hot water and decent pressure. The value/cost was fantastic, inexpensive, and the office staff was helpful. I would stay again

It's not the Waldorf, but then you aren't paying for the Waldorf. Its a great value, good location, clean and comfortable. and the help staff is really good.

For the price and a one night stay this place is good. It’s outdated and needs upgraded. Very dull looking inside. It is very clean and that’s what is important to me. Very close to our destination. Would stay again if needed

Everything was very nice. Rooms were well maintained and clean, and staff was very nice and friendly. Anyone looking for a night or two I'd highly recommend if your in the area.

Conflicting information on reservation screen did not clarify that office was closed at 11 PM and no one was available to check customers in thereafter. Phone call to front desk immediately disconnected. Could not check in, no arrangements were offered. Still got billed.

Great, clean as promised
Excellent CLEAN pet friendly hotel. Adorably vintage. Staff was kind and friendly, rates were affordable, and the atmosphere was nice and quiet. Cat approved.

We were pleasantly surprised about how nice (for the age of the property) this motel was. The room was clean and spacious, the water pressure was totally impressive and overall a great value for the money. Already thinking about booking it again for next years PSU White Out game!!

This is our second stay. The owners are very nice and conscientious. The area in front with the gazebo is a nice place to do the pet walking. Well-maintained.
