I had no heat in my room for the time I stayed there. Manger didn't come fix the problem told me to get under the blankets and still charged me for the stay

We have heat pump unit in all the rooms .it means one unit has both the things and all our units are working good. Looks like you didn't know how to operate it?

The front desk attendant was rude. Instead of handing me the room key he tossed it on the desk. Not friendly or welcoming.

Thank you for staying with us. During and after Covid, situation is changed. Lot of guest do not prefer hand shake or touching and handing over keys in there hand. Sorry if you felt that way, but there is no bad intention or rude behavior. Looking forward to seeing you again.

When we arrived the place didn't let us use the crdit card we made the reservation with, even though we had used it before at the same location.

Sorry looks like, there is confusion or some misunderstanding . We didn't charge credit card before customer's arrival so we asked for credit card. Which card customer gives doesn't matter because credit card was not charged.

I work with homeless and working poor households. Immediately after I booked this room with Expedia I received a text message from the hotel stating that I needed to give them a $50 deposit. Right after that I received another text saying that I could not use my credit card (third party?). I called the hotel and asked what I should do. I was told to cancel the room through expedia. I immediately contacted Expedia through their chat app. After over an hour with no resolution I asked to speak with a supervisor and was called by Jeff. He stated that he would reach out to the hotel via email since they could not reach anyone by phone which seemed odd since I had spoken to them earlier. Jeff also stated that he or an associate would call me the next day. No one called and I then received an email 2days later in the late evening that stated there as nothing they could do. Now our foundation is out over $400. We have spent over $39,000 with Expedia since February 2021. I have been booking rooms since then and have never had this problem before. 0 stars for hotel and Expedia.

Sorry every hotel or motel has their own policy, we do not accept third party credit card. Yes we do have 50 cash room security deposit which is mentioned at booking. Security deposit is fully refundable at check out time as far as policy is followed.

A North County Jewel!
Happy to say that my stay at this property was excellent, starting with the Innkeeper’s warm reception (with a complimentary bottled water and snack), and a quite comfortable room.
The “architectural design and vintage” of the motel property may be lacking, yet that’s a simple sacrifice for a great night’s sleep!

This is a little mom and pop type place and I discovered after checking in that they want a $50 CASH deposit. No... you can't put it on a credit card. They want $50 in cash that they give you back when you check out. I had to tap on the glass and wake someone up to get my money back when I checked out early in the morning. Oh... and they hand you a TV remote when you check in. I guess they can't leave those in the rooms.

Thank you for staying with us and understanding 50 cash room security deposit. we do not hold or pre authorize any money on credit card as security deposit. After covid lot of people don't have enough money to hold on there card and it takes time from credit card company to release that authorization money and they appreciate getting back 50 at check out time so they can use that money right away. lot of time tv remote gets lost in room in different drawers so its easy to hand over at check in so customers don't have to look for it. This motel is terrible not clean
All towels are very dirty it’s been used stains and yellowest spots everywhere even 1 towel it’s totally not a color white it’s look like someone wiped to clean the floor or countertops I’m glad that I have my own inside my luggage, only my husband used from the motel bathroom
Also my brother and his father stay at this motel they are so regrets for staying there. No hot water for me to shower and washing my hair it’s too cold for me. I used to a hot shower I am very Disappointed
This motel I don’t recommend to anyone of my families and friends for future stays

This place was very dirty also the sheets had nasty stains and burned marks ..The shower was the worst the water came out of the shower the whole time i was in there and i took a quick shower and i couldn't do my hair cause my iron would be plugged into the electricity while i was standing on water all over the bathroom floor .. It was horrible but we had no option only thing available that night ..

It was old and dirty. Decor from the 80s and Cockroach in shower. A $50 cash deposit was required for incidentals. It had to be cash. The owner would not charge my card. I had no cash on me and had to drive to the ATM. Very inconvenient. It was clear the owner lived at the location and was surviving. They should not be in the hospitality business.

sorry for the inconvenience for cash deposit, but deposit is refunded back. sometime people don't have money to hold on there card so we made it easy for everybody and they have there $50 back on hand at check out. we have regular pest control service , looks like you were upset for deposit and is coming out in anger. sorry for inconvenience again and have a bless day
