Hotel correcto
Es la 3 ves que iba al hotel. Necesita una mano de pintura , la situacion inmejorable, pero no es lo que era hace un tiempo. Desayuno muy pobre y antipaticos. Una vez mas, no es lo que era años atras.

Buena ubicación en Estambul y ruidoso
Nos fue bien en general,pero nos dieron una habitación muy ruidosa del primer piso a la calle que pasa tranvía. Además como el avión llegaba 2130 había pedido un taxi que no nos busco y tuvimos que tomar uno del aeropuerto.

Es un hotel cómodo por su ubicación
A la vez, mi habitación era muy ruidosa. Pasa el tranvía por delante y no está bien aislado. Por lo que a la noche, se oye mucho el ruido de la gente y el tranvía. La ubicación es muy buena, está entre dos paradas de tranvía, muy cerca de ambas. El restaurante está bien y los camareros son amables.

encantando con nuestra estancia.
Estuvimos 5 noches y fue una estupenda estancia. Muy buena la atencion del personal (detalle de agua e infusiones) , comoda la habitaciòn . Y sobre todo una excelente ubicacion justo al lado de parada tranvia. El desayuno quizas lo unico mejorable. Volveria.

Para mi, el mejor hotel de Estambul de los que e estado, voy de tres a cuatro veces año, hantes iva al four season , pero por situación este es el mejor

Muy buena situación
Lo mejor: situado justo encima de la línea de tranvía T1, imprescindible para moverse por la ciudad, atascada a todas horas. Muy muy cerca de la zona más monumental. Algún desconchón en los muebles y baño con la mampara un poco mal puesta, pero en general moderno y agradable. Las habitaciones de la cuarta planta tienen terrazas. El restaurante en la planta baja está bien, aunque el desayuno no sea el mejor del mundo. Calle con restaurantes y tiendas, a dos pasos también de el Gran Bazar. Muy buena relación calidad/precio.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Faros and my overall experience was nothing short of exceptional. The staff at Faros surpassed expectations with their warm hospitality and attentiveness. Every request was handled promptly, and their genuine dedication to guest satisfaction was evident throughout my stay. Hotel is centrally located and is 5 to 10 minutes walk from Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern and Topkapi Museum two minutes from the Sultanahmet tram station. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a blend of luxury, convenience, and impeccable service during their stay.

Stayed at the Faros in early October 2023 for a four night break. Really lovely staff and excellent location for major sights - easily walkable or tram stop very near by. Note: poor access by taxi if that is your preferred mode of transport as area is mostly pedestrianised. Not a problem if on foot or using the well priced and convenient tram. I used the coach from the IST airport to Aksaray (136 TL or about £4 each way) then walked the mile or so to the hotel. Could have used tram if I had bought an Istanbulkart but couldn't find a machine at the airport). Breakfast was good from the continental buffet, but you had to ask for tea or coffee. The restaurant had nice food at tourist rate prices. The only problems I encountered were noise and music at night until the early hours (restaurants at street level directly below). Also, I had booked a standard double room through Expedia but was given only a tiny single (room 106) with no other rooms available. The aircon failed after the second night. I'd definitely stay here again if I could guarantee getting the room I had paid for.

Kommer absolut boka detta hotell igen!
Kommer absolut komma till Faros hotell igen, jätte nöjd! Personalen var hjälpsamma, jätte trevliga, god frukost och städningen var super bra - det var städat varje dag och att handdukarna byts varje dag ett plus där. Dock behöver hotellet vård och reperation då dörrarna till toaletten samt dörren till vårt rum var ganska trög/ sliten.

Die Lage des Faros Hotel ist sehr gut Die Zimmer entsprechen nicht den Bildern ( Bad: Armatur komplett locker; Duschtüre schließt nicht und WC-Taster fällt herunter) Die Wände sind ramponiert und die Türzargen wurden notdürftig renoviert. Im Grunde sehr alte Zimmer und nicht akzeptabel. Frühstück ist sehr einfach und fü Cappuccino zahlt man separat...nicht sehr ansprechend Personal ist super nett...hier gibt es kein Thema. Fazit: altes Hotel und die Zimmer müssen dringend renoviert werden

Das Personal ist überaus zuvorkommend und höflich. Sie sind stets bemüht zu helfen und stehen für jegliche Fragen zur Verfügung. Das Hotel hat eine sehr zentrale Lage, in einer schönen Umgebung. Auch die Öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sind direkt zu erreichen. Das Hotel hat seinen eigenen Charme, allerdings sollte man beim Bad ein Auge zudrücken. Sehr schöne Unterkunft, die ich gerne weiterempfehle.

Such a charming little hotel with very friendly staff and a perfect situation. Unfortunately very let down by the cleanliness of the restaurant but mostly the rooms. The hotel is in desperate need of redecorating and will then be a very nice place to stay. Such a shame. I hope they get it right.

Great staff, amazing location, delicious breakfast but property conditions and amenities way below expectations for a 4 star hotel, some is really old and weared out.

That hotel is in a very good Location all tourist attractions are very close just a short walking distance At night its so lively on the main road always busy The hotel itself is clean And i would like to say a big thank you to all the Faros staffs They really took care of us during our stay They were so helpful very friendly always ready to help you out I truly recommend this hotel I stayed in many hotels in different countries But this one i really appreciate specially the staffs on the reception Thank you guys Hope to see u soon again 😀

The hotel (including the restaurant and breakfast buffet) and the location were plenty awesome for our first trip to Istanbul, but the staff went above and beyond with their helpfulness and friendliness; we really hope to stay here again someday.

Stayed for 10 nights, loved the staff and the location is excellent. The outside restaurant is really great to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Omar the manager is also very helpful with tours and the best Turkish Hammam with a discount too. Will for sure stay during my next visit.
