El hotel está muy bien, reformado completamente. Lo que no nos gustó mucho es el desayuno que con las medidas de la pandemia te lo preparan ellos para llevar.

Elige otro hotel mejor.
Tenía reservadas un tipo de habitaciones y me dio otro. Actitud indiferente ante la reclamacion. Desayuno muy básico con poca variedad. .

Dear guest, Thank you for your review. For operational and unforeseen reasons, sometimes, we have to reassign our guests to a different room. We always make our best efforts to avoid relocations, which can cause a significant impact, given the long distances that can exist between the accommodation venues nearby. We are sorry to hear that you were not pleased with our continental breakfast buffet. Every day our breakfast offers a variety of bread and pastries, cheese, ham, salami, chorizo; vegetables (tomato and cucumber), boiled eggs, fresh orange slices, dry fruits and nuts, milk, coffee, tea, juices and yoghurts as well as butter, jams, honey, among other items. se trata de un hotel alejado de la civilización, en un entorno idílico, rodeado de prados y animales. El único inconveniente que tuvimos es que reserve una habitación con baño privado y me dieron una con baño compartido (según el hotel en su reserva aparecía baño compartido); pues bien, nuestra habitación daba al baño del pasillo y desde las 6 de la mañana estuvimos escuchando al resto de huéspedes ir al baño y ducharse.

Una buena opción para visitar los glaciares.
Alojamiento básico a un precio muy alto. Sin embargo todas las opciones cerca de los glaciares y el lago de icebergs tienen precios muy elevados. Esta fue una de las opciones más baratas. La calefacción funcionaba bien y la cama muy cómoda. La ubicación inmejorable. Le faltaba una mesa o escritorio en la habitación. Por este precio 110€ podría tener un baño privativo.

Estuvimos dos noches, la primera en una habitación extremadamente pequeña ( la 210), la segunda en una espaciosa y con excelente vista (la 224). El desayuno poco variado, apenas aceptable. La recepción muy amabl.

Su cercanía al glaciar,donde realizaríamos la trekking al día siguiente. Eran varios edificios de habitaciones independientes del edificio principal. El desayuno estaba incluido.

Our stay was an average experience. During our stay there was some significant wind and rain which apparently caused some backup with sewer system odors, not the nicest thing when you’re stuck in your room. The food was okay, but at the high price points we expected a quality level similar to what we have experienced elsewhere in Iceland. On the positive side, the staff members were absolutely great.

Main building, restaurant, food, and staff were good, but our rooms in the back building was not great. The room was very small and cheap. I was afraid to use the towel hanger as it was falling off the wall. Bathroom fan was very loud. There was some beeping alarm going off in the hall every 20 minutes. Outlet wouldn’t charge my laptop. We were in Iceland for 10 days and this was the worst room we had. Parked my was difficult for the back building. View was of the back side of the front building. Bed was against heater and under the window.

Rooms had ample space, and staff was so friendly. They even notified us that the Auroras were abundant outside! Such a great perk! Hotel was very convenient to our glacial hike the next morning with Troll (4 minutes down the highway!). Would have loved the option for a quad room rather than than requiring 2 rooms and splitting the family up. Dinner was pricey, but veggie pasta and dessert were yummy!

I chose this hotel to stay because on the lost, they have the microwave, but when I got there. There was no microwave and the staff said, no microwave was used for a customer. That was really inconvenient for me. And the dinner price was too high.

There is no insulation at all I could hear people having showers, conversations etc. No TV in the bedroom, the room itself was satisfactory. Breakfast was ok. The service is really good (front desk and restaurant) though.

Located on the edge of a tiny village, this hotel has a swanky vibe. As with nearly all the hotels we stayed in Iceland, our room was in a long narrow annex. While decorated nicely, the walls in these annexes are not sound-proof, so neighbor noise can be a problem. Good shower and ample breakfast (included in room rate). We had dinner at the hotel as well: meal was delicious, but very small portions; friendly service.

Location is close to the nearby glacier related activities making it a desirable option for an overnight stay. Room allotted was much smaller in size than anticipated making it very challenging to navigate within the room. Even the bathroom had extremely limited space for all of the bathroom related activities. Included breakfast had more than adequate items. There is no overnight staff at the hotel and no contact numbers were given, for any overnight problems that could potentially arise within the room. Staff was bland and did not go out of the way to be friendly or courteous. This hotel is a practical option to stay while visiting the nearby glaciers as there are not that many options in the vicinity but be prepared for smaller room and bland service.

Nice hotel in a village.
We had stayed for one night. The hotel is located in a village, very quiet place just off the highway. The hotel is nice & clean, the team is friendly. The breakfast was good, although they could offer more options. If you plan to have a dinner, consider contacting the hotel ahead of time. The restaurant is not very big, and I think that guests from other hotels might use it as well.
