It is a simple motel, with anything you need. Chrck in process is done with the Mobile, so there is no one on the property. Evrything was nice, not very updated, bit more than enough to sleep. It was a good selection.

Had a fabulous room right on the water overlooking the harbor and the ocean. Sliding door to balcony where you could watch water birds and boats passing by.

Comfort on the waterfront with a nice bar and restaurant upstairs. Parking is easy, the people are friendly and helpful and the seals happily provide photo opportunities. I would gladly return!

The rooms on the waterfront are spacious and comfortable with the added bonus of watching the seals in the morning. Having an excellent fish-food restaurant upstairs with views of the bay also add to the convenience of the location. I would gladly return again!

The floor sloped so someone who is older stumbled a few times. Did not know who to see for more pillows. But it was a great location. Close to food and the seals.

Best experience in the Harbor
Anchor lodge never disappoints!! We had a slight emergency & they were so prompt to take care of our problem & the owner Jim came to take care our emergency personally & compensated us with a gift card for their restaurant "Silvers on the wharf" We always stay here & always have an amazing time! The Harbor is the best place to stay in Fort bragg.

Loved the “singing” of the harbor seals on a warm night performing ritual mating call contests, as it were. Noyo, with its fishing boats and fresh coastal air below the tall and sturdy new bridge is unique, a little gem, just north of Mendocino where my daring wife and I were married 43 years ago. Woot woot!

Well... If you need a place to stay because you don't want to sleep in your car then this is the place for you. It is in a cool location. And the room wasn't dirty. But I think they fond the mattress on the side of the road. I'm not the one to leave a review normally and I probably wouldn't just for the bad beds but I think one of the guys that works there lives in one of the rooms and he played the guitar and I think the cello. This a lone still isn't the reason for the review. He played the same 3 cords over and over for hours though. I wanted to put my head through the wall.

The bed is comfortable. The location was great. Unsatisfied that there was no outlet in the restroom. Also advertised on the website was shower tub combination when there was none.

Our regular place
This is our regular place to stay in Fort Bragg because of the friendly staff and view of the Noyo River, the boats and wildlife. Also the local restaurants serve really good food! We are never disappointed. The hotel is rustic but the rooms are clean and comfortable.

This was a pleasant surprise! The place was very clean, quiet and with easy access to a lot of good sea food options! My only complaint is that we didn’t get coffee pods refilled on our second day. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, would come back again in the future.

10ft above the water in the Noyo Harbor!!! Such an interesting option. Bring foam earplugs for the sea lions, thin walls, boat horns and Hwy 1(you'll thank me). Other than that, the place is so easy to get to, has about 5 restaurants (check hours) within a block that are also fish markets so fill up before heading home on crab and ice!! The online/self check-in couldn't be easier (emailed your door lock code) - no losing your key. The entrance was a bit confusing but that's because I think we got there when the restaurant staff had a few doors open for cleaning/restaurant services. Parking lot was almost empty. I paid a little extra for a double queen with a harbor view that was pet friendly. The room was clean & neat, & they read my mind because they already had 2 extra blankets on a shelf, lol. Plenty of storage/closet room for 2 chicks that like their space. The only suggestion is for the balconies to have taller deck chairs so that average height people can see over the railing. I solved that by making myself a booster seat out of my pillows so I could look out and see the sea lions & gulls as I drank my coffee. I would also add that it would be a nice courtesy to provide each room with a few pairs of foam ear plugs, but I thought ahead. The room has wood floors instead of carpet so it totally feels/looks cleaner than the more expensive rooms I've stayed in. The housekeepers were so nice in providing extra trash bags and coffee creamer as well. Had a GREAT time here!
