We spent the whole day on the town and used the hotel only to spend the nights, it worked. Check in was very disappointing. I took the option to pay when i checked in; however, i received a text the checking day morning saying i had to complete the payment before noon to warranty the reservation. I called and the saw i had to pay when i check in so the operator confirmed my reservation was secure. I arrived to the hotel at 12:30 and asked to pay the room and the person in the front desk told me my reservation was secure and I had to pay after 4pm, the check in time. I went to the beach with my family and returned at 6:30pm and the same person in the front desk told me i had to call expedia for them to find another hotel for me because they were oversold and had no rooms available for me. I explained to her that i wasn't going to call because i wasn't going to solve their problems. I wasn't going anywhere until they solve the problem. If someone had to call expedia they were the ones, not me. They confirmed 3 times to me my reservation was secure. So i stayed there and they "found" a room available for me in less than 5 min. So, what is the point? They told me they had no rooms but they had. I appreciate they decided to give me that room they denied 5 minutes before but i consider the worst possible service sending the client at 7pm in high season to go around and find a hotel or call someone else to do it. Very disappointing service.
