Excellent Bed & Breakfast in Galway
Fantastic full Irish breakfast with coffee or tea, wonderful service, gracious and friendly hosts, very attentive with free parking: could not ask for more. Highly recommend!

Et rigtigt sødt ældre par men.... de havde ikke styr på deres bookinger og vi kunne derfor ikke få et værelse på trods af booking nummer og bevis på reservation. Måtte derfor vælge meget dyre overnatning istedet.

Wonderful Stay!
Thank you very much for a lovely stay! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, and they made us very comfortable and feel so welcome. Breakfast was delicious! Our room was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was in a very convenient location, close to everything!

We had a fabulous stay. On arrival we were treated like royalty. Tea making facilities in the room and lovely snacks. The room was spotless. Breakfast was lovely. The bed was so comfortable.

Lovely B&B & Wonderful Hosts
I stayed at this B&B on Saturday the 1st of October as I was attending a wedding in Galway. Mary, Marty & Patricia were very welcoming and let me check in a bit earlier than normal as I was in a rush to get to the wedding. Marty even gave me a lift into the venue which saved me a heap of time. The room was small but completely satisfactory for my needs with an en-suite bathroom. I did not manage to wake up in time for breakfast on Sunday so I can't comment on that, but it did smell nice. I would recommend this B&B to anyone who wants a welcoming and cosy stay in Galway.

Nice couple - good breakfast - but a sardine tin!
Pros -- the couple are quite friendly. The breakfast was good. The facility was clean. Cons -- the room was more suitable for a small twin bed at best. The bathroom was extremely tight too. For 80 euro -- I would shop around in Galway. I've paid far less for far better hotels. Not sure how it got the rating it did from Expedia. My wife and I were quite disappointed. It's not really in the city and it's a trek to get to the bus station.

Breakfast was Absolutely Outstanding. Continental & Full Irish Breakfast available. And as much as you'd want. Also many offers of anything more wanted.

Incredibly warm and friendly atmosphere
I arrived after about 13 hours travelling, and was greeted by a friendly face, a pot of tea, and a plate of biscuits. The breakfast was lovely, and I was even given a lift to the station after I'd cut it rather fine to catch my train. Definitely recommend.

Locked Out and Reservation Cancelled
The customer service at this B&B is non-existent - they locked us out with a 3 month old child and cancelled our reservation then had no one available to help us even by telephone. They have a three-hour check-in window, from 3pm-6pm, which we had intended to make, but we were delayed due to poor road conditions, traffic, and the fact that we were traveling with a 3 month old. We arrived at 8pm and were locked out of the B&B. No one answered the doorbell and there was no phone to call for assistance. We called the "after-hours" number listed on the booking confirmation but it was out of order, forcing us to call Hotels.com at international out-of-network rates. Hotels.com called the B&B on a different number and no one answered. Effectively, the B&B cancelled our reservation because we were delayed in our arrival then offered no way for us to contact them for late check-in. We spent 50 Euro in out-of-network calling fees talking to Hotels.com to book another hotel at the last minute. Unless you are willing to risk being locked out with no recourse, I recommend against staying at this B&B.

Warm and welcoming
From our check-in to check-out, our host Mary and her family could not have made us more welcome. Our room was extremely comfortable and well appointed with beautiful snowy white linen, and a modern and spotless ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was cooked to order with a great choice from continental right up to a full cooked Irish breakfast option. We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay, and would highly recommend.

Normaler B&B Standard! Nur Toilette und Dusche??? Das schlimme bei der Enge, es fehlte der Klodeckel und es fanden halt Dinge den Weg dorthinein, die da nicht hingehören!

I love Anach Cuin
Anach Cuin is only a 10 minute bus ride to the City Centre but is separate enough to still get a good, quiet night's sleep. I adore the O'Brians. They are a delightful family who go out of their way to make your stay a pleasure! They really make you feel at home and are just absolutely wonderful. They gave me suggestions for tours, pubs and restaurants and drove me in to town several times over my 3 night stay. I really can't express enough how lovely they are. If you are looking for a B&B in Galway, this is the place!!

Comfortable and Friendly
Very comfortable home in quiet neighbourhood. Excellent breakfasts. Owners bend over backwards to make your stay a great one. Easy access to pubs, restaurants, bus stops, and major roads.

Lovely B & B in a quite area. Very homely
Lovely hosts. Very homely atmosphere. I was running a marathon in the area and could not have chosen a more perfect place to stay. Easy to find and not too far from the city centre. Enjoyed the hearty full Irish Breakfasts. Would highly recommend this as a great place to stay to friends and family and anyone visiting Galway

The BnB owners could not have been more accommodating. With the BnB being a half hour walk into the city centre they would drive me into the city everyday, happily. It was all I needed for two nights in Galway.

Wonderful hostess
The hostess was so very nice and helpful, she even gave us a ride downtown so we didn't have to call a taxi to get dinner. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Overall a very nice place to stay. The only thing I was unhappy with was that it is in a residential neighborhood, but its an easy mile-or-so walk by the river to downtown, and it really was a pleasant walk.

Nice place
The owner try to be very helpfull, the rooms are clean and the food is good. The bathroom i had was a bit small, to sit on the toilet i had to squeeze against the sink and getting dress after the shower proved to be a challenge. Overall good experience.

Accueil très chaleureux
La chambre était très petite, mais le petit déjeuner très copieux. Mary nous a reçus avec gentillesse. Ce B&B n'est pas en centre ville, mais un raccourci piéton nous permettait d'y être en 20 minutes.

Great B&B!
The Anach Cuin was a great first stop in Ireland! Mary was a wonderful host and the breakfast was fantastic. It was a bit difficult to find but very worth it.

Wir waren zu zweit im Anach Cuin, außerhalb der Saison. Das Zimmer war gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Wir wurden herzlichst empfangen und von vorne bis hinten bedient. Eine super nette Familie. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Cosy B and B close to everything
I enjoyed my stay at this B and B. The hosts were kind and welcoming. The breakfast was great. There is ample parking and everything is within walking distance or there is a bus close to the house. The water is also within walking distance. The area is very safe and clean. Galway has a lot to offer visitors and this B and B was perfect for my stay.
