There were repairs going on which told us the management is taking care of the hotel. The room was quite clean and comfortable. Even the baseboards were clean which I cannot say about other higher-class hotels where we have stayed. We will definately stay at Regency again when we are visiting family in the area.

I was disappointed with the fact of barking dogs in the motel at night. Also they were remodeling the exterior walkways which lead to concern for nails being in the parking lots as they were pulling down old rotten boards from the walkway

Worst room ever
Other then a construction crew cutting drilling and banging right out side my room on the bottom floor kids running around outside screaming bed was wore out room was dusty I couldn’t stay there worst room Iv ever had

Disappointed
The gentleman at the front desk was lovely. This is really a motel, not a hotel. Pretty sure the furniture and curtains are older than my grandmother! Dusty, musty, temperature was locked at 68° during a cold freeze. Room was not warm enough, blankets were not warm enough. Very low quality.

Horrible experience
Horrible experience. Room was damp. Beds were like laying on bricks. Itched all night due to covers. Just horrible. We left after 3 hours and came home for it was so bad. I am going to disputw with Amex. Didnt pay alot but left to safety of my family.

We will stay here again.
We felt safe at this location. The grounds are quite and well lit. We had 2 bath towels, 2 wash rags, one hand towel. I wish they provided a box of Kleenex and an extra roll of toilet paper in the room. My family member said her bed and pillows were comfortable. My mattress and pillows were not. Our only big complaint was that there was mold-like stains on the wall behind the toilet. I think housekeeping should have caught this and cleaned the wall prior to our arrival.

After some issues with equipment working in the room and being moved to another nicer room. Everything was wonderful. The room and bed were super nice. The a/c worked, and the bath was refreshing. The second room I was placed in was excellent. The front desk clerk was so helpful and nice. I ran out of coffee and they offered additional coffee with no problem. I would recommend this motel. and would stay there again.

Go to Longview don't stay here
Overall it was just terrible. Kill a roach on the wall when we first check in. Had no hot water the next morning for shower. Other guess where just noise all night. Would suggest driving to Longview to stay and will never stay at this motel again.

I did like the fact that the floor in the room was not swept and clean. For a room that was setup for four people, they only had a set of 2 bath towels and wash cloths. Had to ask for more.

Good value, pleasantly surprised
Pleasantly surprised because we typically do 3-4 star hotels but Gladewater doesn't give you many options. It was our first time traveling with a dog and I really liked that the floors were not carpeted. Overall, it smelled clean and served it's purpose. We were on the first floor and luckily, I don't think anyone was above us. I feared floor noise from above but we didn't have any. It was mostly quiet but a few loud people at the other end of the building.

King bed needed more pillows. Bathroom sink counter was a handy mans special at best. Kudos for making the most of what you had. But it was clean and didn't have to worry about b8g city crime.

Poor choice
There was no hot water and the manager still charged same price as if they had hot water. He also primised water would be on by next day. 2 days later still no hot water. Also no maid service. For $80.00 a night you would expect hot water and maid service. Very unhappy with manager. He should of copmted the rooms at the very least.
