We had an amazing stay at The Coachman, staff were first class and very helpful, the rooms were lovely and clean and very comfortable, breakfast was lovely, only problem was parking but had a lovely stay x

There was a party/function on which is fine but you could hear the music loud clearly from the room, it was on until 12am which again is fine but was very annoying to have to hear it when trying to sleep

Really good place nice rooms and very good service in the restaurant with a great choice of food Bathroom was really nice and clean but very small Only downside if you get a room on the front the road is busy and a bit noisy even with the windows shut

Great place to stay. Excellent dining options in restaurant. Friendly bar and great beer garden / outside space. Staff all very helpful and a positive atmosphere exists in hotel. Rooms more than adequate and appear to have been recently renovated.

The staff were very helpful & friendly, very clean & comfortable room , will be booking to stay here again when we next go to Scotland & will be recommending The Coachman to family & friends.

We stayed in the family suite which was newly refurbished. It was great for the five of us to be able to stay in one room (usually we had to book two rooms for our kids, which means my husband and I have to stay in separate rooms, or we let our underaged kids stay in the second room, not always adjacent) The room was beautifully decorated. Bathroom was modern, spotless and had lovely toiletries & towels. Breakfast was cooked to order. Loved the fluffy pancakes with fresh berries.

Hotel was nice , Rooms well done out . Food good bit dear . Service in bar area / food area was excellent . One thing that dies need to be looked at was i left very early so had to unlock front door and then there was nowhere to deposit key so had to leave door unlocked . A key drop box would be good and help keep hotel secure

Good stay for COP26
Pleasantly surprised to find this accommodation for the COP26 at short notice, affordable, good value for price, easy public transport to Glasgow. Excellent dinner in the restaurant.

This was a useful place to stay when Glasgow was v busy with COP. The room was rather tired. Breakfast ok. Would probably find somewhere closer to Glasgow in the future.

Generally this was a very nice stay. The room was huge. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were always pleasant. A couple of notes that brought the score down; (1) the toilet smelled of stake urine as if it could do with a much better clean (2) first the soap dispenser fell off the wall in the shower cubicle, and then the shower rose fell & couldn't be tightened (3) my room unfortunately had the air conditioning fans directly outside the windows so I slept with the windows closed although it was a warm night & I'd preferred the windows to be open. Would I stay again, yes I probably would.

No tea making facilities in the room. Mattress very uncomfortable and sagging in the middle. Reception closed when we departed at 8am.

Perfect for my needs.
This hotel is now a regular choice appropriate for my business trips in this neck of the woods. Friendly and efficient check in. Good quality room, bar service and restaurant. Staff working under strict safety guidelines to combat any issues associated with Covid19 which was good to see. Hope to return once restrictions are removed.
