El colchón era muy incómodo con los muelles salidos, el cuarto de baño un poco antiguo, una pena, porque lo demás estaba bastante bien. El desayuno muy bueno y ricoy el personal de allí estupendo.

No está ubicado centrico, pero en 20' andando ya estas en el centro. Hotel correcto, desayuno para elegir y luego te sirven lo que pides del desayuno ingles. Se puede decir que se puede desayunar bien.

Por la zona esta bien ubicado muy cerca de la universidad y del parque Kelvingrove que por cierto muy bonito, en cuanto a la habitación fue muy chica hasta el tercer piso no hay elevador , las personas de la recepción muy amables, el transporte tambien esta accesible.

La habitación muy pequeña fue la del ultimo piso viéndola desde afuera pareciera el ático de una casa. Con una ventana abatible, la ubicación del hotel me pereció muy buena en un lugar muy bonito para salir a caminar y seguro.

Bonita estancia en el West End de Glasgow
Buena ubicación del hotel, cerca de restaurantes y pubs y a unos 5 minutos en coche del centro. El hotel no tiene ascensor.

Muy buen sector
El hotel es antiguo, y si te toca habitación en el tercer o cuarto piso, prepárate para sufrir, ya que no hay ascensor y las escaleras son una tortura. Las habitaciones son cómodas y el personal de aseo y recepción cordial y eficiente. El desayuno es muy bueno y preparan unos huevos muy buenos a pedido del cliente a una velocidad increíble. Siéntate y espera a pedir en la mesa y jamás en la ventanilla, porque la señora a cargo tiene su sistema y no piensa cambiar! El sector es tranquilo y a pasos de muchos pubs muy buenos. El centro queda solo a 20 minutos de camino.

Construction across the street made it very loud. The room was nice, fairly clean. Parking was good - the offsite parking was reasonably priced. So many dining options nearby, close to Kelvingrove which was excellent.

A really nice couple of nights at the Sandyford Hotel. I parked 10 mins walk away by the Mosque, in an underground car park. £24 for 36 hours, you pay the Sikf at the entrance with cash. Great location, I walked everywhere from the hotel and felt safe even walking back in the dark. Bus stop right outside with open top tour bus stopping regularly. Easy walk to the lovely Kelvingrove park and museum. Easy walks to theatre and Art Cinema. Clean room, helpful staff. I would highly recommend.

Worth the money you pay. I wouldnt stay in the summer as there is no air conditioning. There is a bar right across the rd that does make some noice later on in the night. Other than that no issues.

For anyone visiting the OVO Arena I’d recommend this hotel as it’s only a 10 minute walk away. Breakfast was great too.

Over-all good, but noisy
I was happy to stay here. The hotel is in a nice area. I did experience a few issues, though. I got my room that I had booked. The bed was okay, but I hope they will add a top mattress at some point, 'cause I could feel the boards through the mattress. The handle on the bathroom was broken, so I locked myself in in the bathroom and had to call for help to get out. There was also a big hole in the bathroom door which was taped up. There was some sort of ventilation right outside my window, so there waa a constant noise. The door handle couldn't be fixed, so I was moved to a different room. This room was nicer, bigger, less worn down, better mattresses. But I would recommend earplugs! The second room faced the street and the windows did not keep the sound out. The staff was really nice, the place was clean. You get what you pay for :)

The whole atmosphere was friendly and the staff were most helpful. It didn't have the formality that you find in so many hotels, so it felt more like a good B&B. We would go there again.

Although I know the West End well I hadn’t used the Sandyford before. It was a great location, perfect for eating and drinking around that part of the city. I had a gig on one of the evenings and was able to walk there and back quite quickly. Will definitely use the Sandyford in the future.

Double booking
arrived to find our room had been given to someone else. The receptionist was apologetic and gave us a room 4 floors up (no lift) so we had to take out what we needed from our bags and leave them at reception as they were too heavy to lug up the stairs. We were given free breakfast as compensation but were disappointed not to get the room we were expecting. On the plus side breakfast was actually very good!

I hate to give a below average review, especially since both to the receptionist on duty were lively, friendly and helpful... but, the cleanliness in the ensuite really wasnt very good, urine splashes on and under the toilet seat and the tiling to the side of the sink hadnt been cleaned properly in ages. The bed and linen were clean so i didnt look any further. The capet had obviously been cleaned with somehing that left a huge big discoloured mark in the centre if he room and the leather finished furniture was all scratched and needed replacing. There was a vent or something outside that made a racket until just after midnight. I had a fairly rubbish sleep due to some noise, drunk people i think, in the lobby outside my door. I paid £89 for a stay without breakfast and im afraid it really wasnt worth that, had it been £50 i woukd have expected this type of standard. Sorry folks but it us what it is
