“El hotel es realmente un entresijo de pasillos y el acceso a las habitaciones requiere siempre una parte de escaleras. No llega el wifi, te lo indican cuando llegas al hotel, a la gran parte de las habitaciones. En las zonas comunes sin problemas. Esta un poco viejecillo. Nuestra habitacion parecia como si hubiese estado tiempo cerrada.”

“A lovely, clean and safe hotel. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel all in all is excellent. I would happily book here again. We met the owner at breakfast and he was very friendly and helpful. The night before we were going to arrive very late so called ahead and there was no problem, all was explained how to gain access. We stayed here as a family of 5 and it was excellent all round. ”

“Newly tastfully decorated, staff friendly and attentive. Standard of food was on a par with pub grub, so not for foodies, also the dining room windows needed a wipe down due to dead insects. Wardrobe in room almost useless for hanging clothes full of other items . Better provision for hanging your cloths is needed, the wardrobe was small and was used to store a fridge, safe, hairdryer and ironing board. In short a potentially very nice hotel let down by attention to details.”

“My best friend and I got to experience what relatively few Americans will ever experience - sleeping in a real castle! What an experience! The grounds were beautiful, overlooking a flowing river and a gorgeous wooded area. The walk to the quaint town of Peebles was fabulous.
