This is the worst service I’ve received at ANY hotel, let alone one with pretenses of being 5-star. If I were feeling generous, I´d say that every person working here seems to be a trainee. But, I´m not. Here is only a snapshot as to why:
There is a “please service” light, that I have foolishly attempted to use to signal housekeeping, before leaving my room for 3-5 hours in the late mornings/afternoons; not once in three attempts has the room been cleaned, even when I also call housekeeping. Today, after returning again to find the room exactly as I’d left it, I called down and asked for it to be cleaned right away. When I returned after 45 mins, they’d left MY DOOOR OPEN. (BTW, where did I go for 45 mins? The much touted sauna/steam room. When I arrived, there was no attendant, no towels, no water, and both the sauna and steam room were turned off. This was 3:00pm.)
Upon returning to my open room, relieved not be robbed or murdered, I felt a bit peckish. So, at 4:15pm, I called down to order from the “1130 to 2230” section of the in room dining menu. As I begin to order soup, the person taking my order, informs me they are only doing “The all day menu...sandwiches, pizza...” But, I say, I’m ordering from the regular menu, within the indicated hours? He says the kitchen is closed. Fine. I point out that the menu is incorrect, but whatever. This man then has the audacity to SIGH like he’s doing me a FAVOR, and say, “Ok, ok. You want soup?”
I hung up & came here.
