Great hotel
Great hotel. The pool is awesome,it has balls and air mattresses for kids to play. The size is perfect. Poll and hot tub have crystal clear water. Breakfast is excellent.Commute to Sun Valley ski resort is easy and does not take long, it is worthed the savings.We had a great weekend

I think it is great that they offer breakfast that has basics each day plus varying offerings. This is served to you as you go through a line. I absolutely love this approach as it’s disappointing and sickening at other hotels where so much is wasted as people’s eyes were bigger than their tummies and they throw away so much.

A wax room was very handy as we were on a week long trip and needed a quick edge file and wax. A bunch of families with kids arrived Friday night and were running up and down the halls late, but that isn't hotel staff's fault.

Friendly staff, Cozy and Clean Room
The hotel was clean, comfortable and roomy. We were there for a ski race for my son and we had a lot of gear. We were able to move the furniture around in the room to make it fit and work for us. The beds are low to the ground but overall comfortable.

Sandy the receptionist was so welcoming and friendly. We loved the clean rooms and the breakfast. The pool and hot tub were clean and gave us a very relaxed atmosphere. A great effort to detail and comfort was given to this place and it shows. We will definitely be back.

It was a good location and awesome amenities . I just wished the room carpet would have not smelled so bad . Needs re carpeting as it is an older inn.

Wonderful! Michael greeted us and very welcoming. Just an fyi to housekeeping. The wall to the right of room sink filled with dried toothpaste splatters, which was gross, and no lotion in dispenser. Room 233

We did love their breakfast. Especially breakfast buritos! The staff in the break room is very helpful, accomodating and friendly. We enjoyed our stay in River Wood Inn.

Great place!
We had a great experience here. The place to eat that they recommended was within walking distance and very good. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. When we discovered a flat tire when leaving they cheerfully stored our luggage while we had two new tires put on. They were just so nice and really went out of their way to be helpful. Breakfast was served so that the contact with so many people and the food was curtailed. Great place!

Surprisingly good breakfast
We were passing through as a family of four and just wanted a cheap stay. My son and husband had the breakfast and said it was really good, far better than all similar places. My son enjoyed the pool and game tables. I really appreciated the water bottle refill station. The front area had nice plants that were pretty and well taken care of. The staff was friendly and eager to help. The location was great if you want to walk to get dinner or stretch your legs.

The hotel was impressive in its cleanliness. The breakfast was great. The rooms comfortable. The staff that checked us in was not friendly or helpful. She seemed to be having a bad day. When checking out no one was around at the desk. The staff running the breakfast was friendly and courteous.
