I feel like this place was okay. The floors were dirty on arrival which was a bit concerning. Nothing was freshened up on any of the days we stayed either.

I like the location. Hotel is in dire need of a renovation. Needs new furniture. Also a new air conditioner system.

Hatteras doesn’t disappoint.
It was an interesting stay. I’m sure this location is perfect for those that like to charter a fishing trip. The accommodations were fine for our getaway. Close to restaurants and the beach.

Tried this place since it is so close to the ferry dock to Ocracoke Island. A very basic room managed by the nearby marina. The office was closed after 6 pm. No shampoo provided - soap only. No on-site breakfast options. Had breakfast across the street.

The security on this property is above ANYTHING I have every seen. Do not let the key fool you, it is actually a triple lock!. Harbor is right outside the room and loved seeing the boats come in.

While our room was clean and spacious, there is no air conditioning in the bedroom, we spent two VERY WARM nights even with the ceiling fan going! There is also no ice machine and no blow dryers in the room. I got a blow dryer at the front desk with explicit instructions to return it upon check out or my credit card would be billed $20!! While we enjoyed seeing Hatteras and exploring, I would not stay here again, I can't imagine what its like in that bedroom in the middle of summer!

Staff was very friendly; rooms were very clean with daily housekeeping. The sunset views from the balcony were impressive. Good restaurants nearby. Perfect place to stay for anyone interested in taking a fishing boat charter or just casual boating. The only issue being that the bath towels were rough and very thin. I recommend bringing your own towels. I would still recommend staying here if in the area.

Very clean and comfortable accomodations. Staff were great! A few quirks, no shampoo or conditioner provided, no ice machine available but the staff would happily provide you with ice if you call the front desk.

It was okay. Lovely view. Back room needs its own a/c unit. Barely furnished. It was quiet. Parking lot needs designated area just for hotel. Can’t get a spot when restaurant is open. It was nice to walk to shops, restaurants etc. I don’t think I would stay there again unless they invested more in room furnishings and good mattress.

We are sorry to learn that your experience was less than adequate. Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. Mattresses are on schedule to be replaced this winter. After looking into AC units for the back room and given we have 12 rooms, at this time that project is extremely costly. We tried to compensate by installing quality ceiling fans. Not sure what kind of furnishings you would have liked to see or where any could be added. We genuinely regret the inconveniences and are happy you enjoyed the view. Thank you for choosing our hotel.

Very nice location with beach access within a few minute drive. Gorgeous Marina views. Room was simple and clean. Check in was easy and staff was friendly. Dinkys restaurant is in the same parking lot and is a must!

It was affordable, quiet and clean. Staff was very nice. The only “issue” we had was that our door was almost impossible to get unlocked from the outside. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.
