I really enjoyed my stay. The apartment was clean and spacious. The nice amenities. My favorite part was the pool and the gym. However, there’s not a lot of restaurants that are within walking distance. I would definitely stay again.

A Disastrous Start to Our Vacation Upon arrival at Locale, our excitement quickly turned into frustration and disbelief. After a long journey, we were greeted with the shocking news that there were no keys available for us. The locker was open and empty where they kept keys for guests. Despite having made our reservation well in advance, the staff seemed unprepared and disorganized, leaving us stranded without a room. What made the situation worse was the lack of empathy or assistance from the property management. Instead of offering a solution, we were bluntly told to look for other accommodations, which left us feeling abandoned and stressed at the start of our supposed vacation. The experience was not only inconvenient but also incredibly disappointing. It's unacceptable for guests to arrive only to find out they have nowhere to stay, especially without prior notification. This lack of professionalism and customer service has completely turned me off from ever booking with Locale Medical Center Houston again. For those considering staying here, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. The risk of having your travel plans thrown into chaos is too high. There are plenty of other properties that value their guests and understand the importance of reliable service.

Great spacious view unit.
Great spacious corner unit. Great view of city. I would definitely stay there again. Host was responsive several when initial entry code didn't work. Parking is limited for guest but overall wonderful stay.

We liked everything about this property! Clean & comfortable. Great clubhouse & pool area. Really nice people & safe area for walking. If you’re visiting the medical center it is very easy & inexpensive to take an Uber. Uber is much easier than parking in that area.

The apartment we were in had no TV in the bedroom, which, whatever, but it seemed odd for such a nice place. Hallway lights were motion-sensor and several were out, so it was really dark. The bathroom lights in the unit were working for 1/3 of the available lights. A closet door was broken. However, it was clean, albeit a little janky, the view was pretty good, the people in the lobby were friendly, as were the residents. The building and its pool/jacuzzi/deck area was nice, but we were never given instructions on how to access that. It seems like they are advertising it, but then don't really give you the door codes - maybe, unless you ask directly? I would stay there again, I suppose, but would love access to all amenities.

Several steps to contactless check in but none overly complicated, more just use common sense and follow the steps they send via text. Parking was on site in deck, secured by large doors and requiring fob to enter so felt secure. We did not use amenities onsite but looked around and they seemed clean and inviting: Actual unit had VERY firm mattress which we found very uncomfortable but recognize this is a preference. A TV in the bedroom would be an inexpensive upgrade with great value added. Carpet in bedroom appeared worn and not the cleanest, bathroom floor grout could use a steaming and the shower curtain was a disaster (wouldn’t stay on hooks) but nothing so bad that we wouldn’t stay again if in the area. We arrived late and only food option was a McDonalds a mile or two away. In the daytime there is much more available, plenty of variety. As it is in the area of many hospitals there were sirens many times but area felt safe. Several reviews said walking distance to MDA or TX Children’s but I think that would depend on destination and weather—definitely too hot in June and August when we visited for a lengthy stroll. All in all, we’ll definitely have this property on our list for return visits.

This property is amazing! I had to stay in Houston for surgery and the apartment has all the comforts of home plus all the extras of a resort. Isiah at the front office is so nice and helpful. It was 4 minutes from hospital so no stress in driving. HEB is right up the road as well. We cooked on the very nice, clean outdoor grilling area by the pool and lounged in the cabana. I will definitely stay here again for even just a weekend getaway. It was perfect place for perfect price!

Great room & amenities, but miscommunication
The room I had was amazing, with a decent view of hermann park. the room was not ready when I got there it was being cleaned which to me wasn’t an issue the operation manager showed me around the building and he seemed cool, I grabbed food and it was ready when I got back I wasn’t even gonna bring it up but the issue I had was on my checkout date the day prior I had requested a late check out which was a $50 and I was okay with it, around noon the operation manager came in telling me I had to leave because I was way past my checkout time I explained to him I requested a late checkout so he left, then came back and said I did not, While trying to explain what happened he decided to threaten me and tell me things will get ugly if I’m not out of the room by 1pm and just walked out while I was talking which made me feel very disrespected. I had to make some calls and I guess someone forgot to note I had a late checkout. The whole situation was escalated just because of a misunderstanding on the managements end. oh and there was no gas or hot water on my final date but I do understand that’s out of their control. Nice room and I would recommend it but use caution since apparently “things can get ugly”.
